The entire building or a part of the building? Hopefully, firefighters from area 10 will quickly put the situation under control.

Those of you insinuating that the fire was deliberate obviously lack knowledge of how far we’ve gone in Nigeria. Gone are the days when people steal money and then burn down the building to destroy records. Financial records can no longer be destroyed by merely burning a building. All transactions are now done through TSA, GIFMIS, REMITA and IPPIS. Federal government transactions are fully saved online and backed up at different locations. Essential records can never be lost to the fire.

Again, those insinuating that Covid-19 donations would be lost to the fire are very ignorant. All donations at federal level are paid directly into a CBN controlled account. All records are with CBN and not OAGF. Nobody can steal Covid-19 donations by burning OAGF building.
Thanks for telling them that!

I disagree with you. The presidency said to have withdrawn some billions of Naira and distributed through table payment to the poorest of the poor, trader/market money and other social investment program... In this case, there is no electronic/ any accurate data to verify the reports from the ministry of humanitarian and disaster how this money has been spent. The reason the leaders of the lower and upper chamber are trying to wage in...there is more to this fireoutbreak than you think.

National cash transfer office is responsible for paying the poor under the social investment program and not the office of the Accountant General Of The Federation. All documents relating to the payments to the poor should be with the NCTO and the supervising ministry.

Fire outbreak in such sensitive offices is always tailored towards an evil purpose.
Either to loot or cover up the loot.

The operation of the office is fully computerized and all transactions are saved online with back up outside the office. Not a single essential data would be lost to the fire.

Was jamb money that was swallowed by the snake paid in cash by students? If it was withdrawn from Jambs account, is there no digital evidence of transaction?

You talking like you're not a Nigerian where everything is possible. If they told you that they have no back up, you will just shout on social media and keep quiet.

Why are you sounding like you don't know them?

The lady that stole Jamb money and later claimed that the money was swallowed by a snake had since been arrested and charged to court. The case is in court because nobody believed the explanation of the lady. The lady was asked to account for the money because there is a paper trail that led the money to her.

Office of the Accountant General of the Federation is currently on fire right now in Abuja.
The cause of the fire accident is yet to be disclosed as at the time of filing this reprts.

But we hope the fire-brigade officials make it to the scene on time to put out the fire to avoid more unpleasant news especially with national funds.

The criminals are obviously cleaning up any evidence that is going to implicate them after all the looting.

That is how it is supposed to be but when we start heading excuses that the fire affected the money, we can't do anything. Can you remember what happened few years ago about how snake entered into and absconded with our money in the same Abuja there? We just have to leave everything in God's hand. I have not seen anyone that has benefited from the billions being donated to us for this Corolla virus mission. We are waiting for you guys to use the money wisely.
