Electricity companies staff have to be going on their jobs now with full military support, almost like shoot to kill these bastards, but arresting them will suffice.

Look at how he removed the ladder, almost killing the engineer.

What sort of bs is this?

The behavior of some Nigerians can just depress someone sometimes

It’s almost as if Nigerians don’t want to live under any rules whatsoever, like they’d be comfortable living in a jungle while the rest of the world progresses.

Just look at the mob that gathered and started hitting a man for just doing his job.

Animals.

We need to build more prisons in this country.

The guy disconnecting the light is a fool.
Why didn't he come down when he saw his partner been beaten? Until they removed the ladder that was when the fool knew his life was in danger.
Good for them.

They will continue to suffer until they do the right thing -- provide prepaid metres for every household and stop estimated billing method.

See even majority of Nairalanders supporting the beating.

May all of you who support the beating also be beaten at your job too!

and then all the evil people around you will laugh at your loss.

Where did humanity go to in this country?

So you support extorting people via estimated billing methods?

With prepaid metres, these criminals have no business running around every street.

The guy on the pole is a very wicked human being... They were beating his colleague and I thought he has come down and ran away, but lo and behold, when the camera returned to him, he was still busy disconnecting the light...

If the villager didn't come to shake his ladder the second time, dude would've still cut the light lipsrsealed

That guy On the pole deserves a special beating... Very wicked unpatriotic citizen. Upon say everyone dey lock down, them still dey bring exorbitant bills I wonder where they want people to get the money from.

Not true. He can't climb down with no one holding the ladder. It is very risky.

He was able to use the pole to get down after they removed the ladder.

Is Nigeria cursed that we can't fix power since independence? What is wrong with this country... sold crude for over 53years, borrowed up ro N34trillion yet can not even feed it citizens for a day...

In this modern age we still cant say a single thing the county has achieved since independence...its a shame and we still have these old folks revolving around the govt. recycling the same criminals every election period...

Lies. This case happend April 2019 in Ikorodu. The uniform worn by those guys is for Ikeja Electric, not Ibadan. The incident did not happen this year at all not to talk of during lockdown.
