Contrary to social media and online speculations that has gained traction since last night, Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abba is not dead, LEADERSHIP findings reveal.

Rumours of his death trended on social media after a notable newspaper online platform (not LEADERSHIP) had reported the news of his demise.

The post has now been deleted.

Hon. Na’abba served during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

I knew it had to be fake , when the rumour broke last night a called a friend in Kano who should know if truly Ghali died and he said he had not heard anything from Ghali family member as at midnight yesterday only to wake up and see the news on Front page

Nairaland MODs should verify information before pushing it to FP, once it hits FP a lot of people believe it to be true.
We wish Hon Ghali Naaba Long life and good health.

Any MOD that sends fake News to FP should be made to bear full responsibility for any distress caused.

Seun should also be sanctioning the MODs not only banning the accounts of Nairalanders for infractions, it's better to have Snakes stories daily than unconfirmed stories in Front Page.
