Good morning sir.

You dont believe in the men fighting for my safety and freedom, I do.

Please this is borderline bullying and against Rule 2 on Nairaland. I wouldn't want to report you.

You shouldn't bother with these guys. All they know of warfare comes from CGI films. Do you know if these helps can work with the ATR 42 surveillance plane?

Lol. Actually any helicopter can be fit for attack, it only takes proper modifications. Helicopter is one good aircraft for maneuvers.
Our airforce is trying, just needs a little upgrade.smiley

Whether it's an Apache, Black hawk, Venom, Cobra or King Stallion, helicopter is about modifications Sir.

Why didn't they modify any of these one than go for that scrappy toy that was here some days back
Re: Helicopters Of The Nigerian Airforce (Pictures) by Jakumo(m): 10:41am On May 30, 2020
Very nice photo compilation. Nigeria has a varied inventory of helicopters, and the most interesting are the civilian helicopters that are retrofitted with some serious firepower.

The Augusta 109 rivals only the Westland Lynx for pole position as the fastest production helicopter in current existence, so it is encouraging to see that the Nigerian military has acquired both of these agile and swift birds of prey.

To all the armchair Squadron Leaders in da house, wagging their disapproving fingers as always, while posting googled pictures of the USA's military hardware, may I suggest that you kindly contain your battlefield exploits to within the safe realm of the usual video gaming consoles. The helicopter gunships shown in the foregoing photo montage, have all without question sent many a virgin hunter on their final mission to paradise, while operating dangerously close to the ground in all manner of flying conditions.

No apologies are likely to be issued from the Nigerian military high command, to appease the internet's teeming self-appointed war strategy consultants who feel that Nigeria's war tools must equal or even eclipse those fielded by the USA. The fact that you personally did not receive battle damage assessments after each helicopter combat sortie against terrorist forces in Northern Nigeria's theater of war, does not mean that such missions were never flown, even as you blissfully slept off another night of heavy drinking in your mom's basement.

They can't use most of these in such close battles. BH now poses AA guns and rockets . These are too low flying and would be shutdown. Those things cost tons of money and you don't want to misapply them.

What we should be buying are guided missle drones to take those terrorists out.

I don't understand you know all these but our highly paid military don't.
