People have been travelling from day one of the interstate ban....Get to the check point settle the security operatives, move on.

As of today no security operative has lost his or her job,so it will continue

Because of the level of extortion on the road...prices of goods and commodities has gone up virtually 100%

Way forward dismantle the check points and allow interstate movement as the travel ban has not been effective...

Where is the governor that was climbing trailers the other day? Has he not moved his office to the border post?

People forming everywhere. They all want to become president of a lawless state they helped to create!

Lockdown without massive test is a waste of time. South Africa has done over 500K tests and Nigeria still in 60K after 3 months.

Nigerians are not under any lockdown anymore. The only thing is just for Federal govt to make it official.

The only institution that is still officially lockdown is Educational Institution. Church, mosques, hotels are doing their things on low level.

These direction less appointed so called guvnors forgot the old adage that says water will always finds its level, for three months, they kept hard working Nigerians under lockdown without alternatives to source of livelihood. Even the hard hit developed nations are opening up their economy, but ours think it is their copy and paste solution remains the everlasting solutions

They should free Nigerians abeg. You don't provide for your citizens and you want to lock them in one place. Even before the era of globalization, people were practicing trade by barter, and that required people moving to meet the needs they don't have.

Re: COVID-19: Governors Fume As Interstate Travel Ban Collapses by Modikko(m): 12:45pm On May 31, 2020
Most times State Governors are our problem in Nigeria but everyone keeps blaming Mr President. Just look at this nonsense. As a State Governor you are meant to ensure that you protect your state and enforce whatever policy that works. But no, they are only after money that gets into their pockets. Look at how they are even grumbling with State Legislature and Judiciary Autonomy. Better start holding your State Governors to account for everything within their domain. Good governance start from home

Which ban?..

There was never one cos the security agents are on the highway collecting money...
Exactly. They put a lockdown order and kept the same bribe-induced officers on the road to checkmate this. Who are they fooling?

They are fuming cause the whole looting technique is beginning to cast.
They should fume for the right reasons

Most useless covid policies
1. interstate ban
2. ban of cargo planes
3. wasting money in building new isolation and treatment centres when existing hospitals can be reorganised and upgraded for covid purposes.
4. Self-isolation of positive patients
