Predictions Of A Post-Election Jonathan Presidency And Administration. by dempeople(m): 12:24am On Jan 21, 2011
My Fellow Nairalanders,

There's indeed a measure of excitement in the air in all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria about the expectations of a post-election Jonathan Presidency albeit the performance of his pre-election administration.

Optimistically or pessimistically, what're your predictions for his post-election administration politically, socially and economically? Are we expecting huge changes in the status-quo? A departure from the mythical fulani oligarchy's stronghold on power? Diversification of the economy? Perhaps, changes in the constitution with the likelihood of the passing of PIB? Or, borrowing GEJ's favourite campaign word - "Transformation", are we indeed about to see huge and tremendous changes and progress in all facets in the heart of Africa?

Is vision 2020 still achievable with a Jonathan presidency? Can we even meet up the millennium development goals set to expire by 2015? Can a Jonathan presidency finally unlock the potential of the country or, would we see a decentralization of power from the centre to the zones? Perhaps also, a SNC is in the air?

OR,

are we getting over ourselves with each new administration's promise of a better life for the country's custodians albeit years of disappointments?

Let us hear from each other on what to expect during this mystical administration's assumption of power come May 2011.
