Seraphicelement: Nigeria’s Constitution was supervised by northern Nigeria’s military dictators who dictated what should be and not to be in the Constitution. The Constitution is not even legal since it did not pass through any plebiscite - referendum. No modern country has Constitution directed by soldiers, talk less, soldiers from one section of the country, except Nigeria. The soldiers from northern Nigeria refused to include Referendum in the constitution because of crude oil then in the Nigerdelta. Because the soldiers knew full well that if Referendum is inserted into the constitution, Nigerdelta people would quickly go for Referendum and break away from Nigeria. The illegal Constitution has failed Nigeria. The most important portions of the Constitution cannot be reviewed at the NASS because of undue political over representation of northern Nigeria drawing from the undue large number of states proliferated in northern Nigeria by northern military dictators. Now, something has to give in - Nigeria. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Nchenches: Well put. Nigeria has no legal constitution. What it has is a Northern military decree masquerading as constitution, enforced by guns pointed at opposing voices, supported by greedy civilians and political jobbers. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Samirana360:at all , in fact it was written there that she will be controlled by and under the United Nations,.. some were even suggesting a new name for them ,.. for the fact they bear resemblance name to Cameroun does make them their controller, but u read the part that says , Camerounian President Paul Biya, was directed to cede the part away from his country, so why would you now say that the part ceded should be under the same Camerounian government again, I don't understand |

proeast: Those Biafra agitators must first of all go for Britain’s SUPPORT. Nigeria is Britain’s business, Fulani operates in Nigeria with that truthful message and licks the ass of Britain 24/7. International Oil Companies in Nigeria must be courted also. Ambazonia is fueled by French and German rivalry. Paul Biya has no answer to that. South Sudan emerged independent country not from the civil war alone, but also from machinations of the international community over crude oil in South Sudan. South Timor emerged new country from Indonesia because of Portuguese interest in South Timor. In fact, Portugal took the fight for independence for South Timor as a national task. The new countries from the Old Soviet Union broke free from Russia because of USA’s interest during the Cold War to break huge Soviet Union. Old Yugoslavia broke largely because of the interest of Europe and USA to liberate the irreconcilable nations in old Yugoslavia. Bottomline: separation from an existing country is not gotten by mere agitation, international players, especially, the Super powers must be convinced to get involved. 2 Likes |

caleboxylic: Don’t mind those ignoramus . Watch how they will start telling you the Igbos in their so called South South are not Igbos but Benin and they will suddenly become their mouth piece. I am glad for the new wave of sensitization most people have come to the realization of who they are. If you observe they are only two here talking about Niger Delta. The other person was even surprised no one else is talking about Niger Delta. No one is forcing anyone, they should come up with their own indigenous name like Izon (Ijaw) Nation or Irhobo Nation and stop answering to that slave name given to them by their master. Even the so so called Niger Delta that was established IMO, ABIA, ONDO are there but we said NO to that slave name. This new state UNO (Ambazonia) is an eye opener to those shouting the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. Biafra is imminent 3 Likes |

China and India are busy fighting for a piece of land. As we Speak, both countries have armies massed at the border. Russia just annexed parts of Ukraine. Nigeria want to cede the little we have. Why then do we have a military? Disband them because it serves no real purpose. |

Seraphicelement:Any president that lose even a plot of Nigerian land should be arrested for treason. Obasanjo should have been hanged and those lands reclaimed by force. There is no international agreement that supersede national territorial interests. US, China, Russia, India have proven that, time and time again. China has annexed so much lands and sea that their country has nearly doubled in size. They have now swallowed up Hong Kong back into the Chinese fold. |

Russia is spread across two continents. US has many territories outside their soil. The UK has lands close to Argentina in South America which they now own. India has seized Kashmir by force and subject the unwilling citizens to bondage. The less said about China the better. God didn't give it to them from heaven. They took it. We should be expanding, not losing the one we have. 1 Like |

Nchenches: You are right! And it does appear that Obasanjo who signed this agreement knows the implication hence the more reason why he refused Atiku the opportunity of succeeding him. When he eventually endorsed him, he (Obasanjo) knows that Atiku will not win Buhari. Just to placate the people (minorities) the likes of Ahmed Lawan, Omo Agege.....were made Senate president and deputy giving them the false impression that they are well represented and that they can aspire to any position in the land. F.G may be banking on them to persuade their people to remain in Nigeria when it's obvious that they are being controlled by the powers that be. From the looks of things, Nigeria government will be in a dilemma. 2023 is going to be a bumpy ride!! Its either electing an Igbo man as President, Granting them the rights to referendum to decide their fate or restructure . However, the way forward still Restructuring.... |

Referendum is enshrined in UN laws for any state seeking for self determination, and it will be given not by Nigerian government but by United Nations which Nigeria is signatory to, and bound to respects it's laws and order and please next time be civil in your response to people's comment here, don't be insultingly derogatory... thank you. 1 Like |
