I know lot more about those pollings, the climate in the US, Hillary Clinton's likeability within the democratic party, Comey's action announcing investigations against Clinton on Oct 28, just 11 days before the Elections....and the fact that Trump won by barely about 107k votes across three states and have not expanded his coalition since then...rather is he have to play a catch-up in some states he won the last time.

The Jury is still out and with Trump and after three years, identity politics have increased in the US and it is very hard to see anyone who is a true independent in the US anymore. What this means, is the opportunity for a surprise outcome are getting narrow by the day and it will boil down to the party that is able to get their voters to the poll.

Identity politics is so high in the US today, such that the Republicans will vote for anyone carrying their national ticket irrespective of that individual's qualities and the Democrats will also do the same.

Agreed the key states are still on board, but Biden is ahead but within the margin of error, even Fox News polls indicates as much, but election day is still very far......and I wouldn't rely so heavily on the contrarian view that, since he was behind the last time and still won, it then means if he is behind this time, he will still win...the climatic are drastically different....I also believe that, just like the Democrats four years ago that pushed far left with their policies, Republicans have really pushed too far with their policies and ideas and the US is still very much a center right country....and during each election cycle they usually correct towards the center. Hence if you look back to recent past elections in the US, it is very very difficult for a single party be it Republicans or Democrats to win back-to-back four terms.

Your point are duly noted. November still far small sha anything can happen

Agreed, Biden is a weak candidate, but the combination of a wrecked US economy, coronavirus pandemic, and Trump's ineptitude appears Biden may just beat Trump. People forget Trump won only through the electoral college, he is not a popular guy, and has done nothing to increase his base in the last three years.
Besides, Biden is a white man, and believe it or not is liked by some Republicans. The Lincoln Project is even working for him.

Trump will definetely need more than the evangelicals, working class to win his 2nd term.

The other demograph - the older folks over 65s that voted for him in 2016 have largely left him. The younger generations 18-35 will not be voting Trump.

Trump hasn't increased his base from 2016, rather he has lost quite a significant number of voter groups. Trump promised to do things differently back in 2016, which didn't work out even before the Covid pandemic.

For Biden, unfortunately under this present climate is a better choice. His years in the Senate, VP for 8years and bipartisanship will get enough votes from independents and progressive republicans who aren't comfortable with Trump style of presidency.

When Trump became the president on Jan 20, 2017, employment rate was a shed under 5%. Obama brought it from over 10% to 5 % while creating about 20 million jobs in 8 years. Here we are now with over 13% unemployment rate and over 110.000 Americans dead and sadly many more to go. Over 38 millions Americans still unemployed and the National debt is over $3 Trillion. In America, the buck stops at the president desk. The key question in America when a president is running for re-election is ARE YOU BETTER OFF NOW THAN FOUR YEARS AGO ?. That's the deciding factor in America.

Yes you're correct the Covid pandemic is not Trump's fault, but he could have done things differently by protecting his economic legacy and taking responsibility as the C-in-C. Instead he was blaming everyone from CDC, to the Democrats, and WHO.

South Korea, Germany, Singapore, Australia just to name few countries, handled the Covid pandemic very well with minimal loss of lives. Now the death numbers in the US is almost 110k.

If he picks Oprah as his running mate...

Democrat leaders are the same people fully in support of social vices such as abortion, transgender, homosexuality, bestiality and so on.

Republicans on the other hand are deep down racists who secretly wish that slavery hadn't been abolished.

So there you have it.

Whoever you support will eventually bring doom.

That's America's problem anyway.

I think you're only trying to attract relevance but not with a dark sense. Remember how people like you made hilarious noises on twitter even here on Nairaland during the last presidential campaign in 2015 calling Trump all sorts of names and negative impressions against the already anointed President of America? You also claimed that Hillary Clinton is the people's whiled choice and last last what happened? Your hate can never downplay the will of God almighty.
