Asgard13: Noise making is allowed. The political field is open. Let all the players play their games according to how they can dribble their opponents. In political war games, everything to beat your opponent is fair. In as much as you are within the limits of law. Everything can be said about everyone, but reality of the game will always comes out clear. Divine and natural law is a major factor in determining where things take directions to. Political observers should always allow the politicians to play their games. Preempting is dangerous. Obaseki is learning something new seriously. He is a baby in power game. He should go back to his private business. Going to fight for the governorship election on the platform of another party is a total wastefulness. He will lose the election. 1 Like |

Is not as if obaseki has done anything meaningful in Edo, but that issue of God-Fatherism nonsense has to stop.. The day a nigerian president rises independent of any godfather or anything along those lines that's the day nigerian truly gets its independence and we can start practicing democracy in its truest form. There re many system's of govt but I've always noticed that in nigeria or any underdeveloped countries where u av a large population of uneducated fellows, tribalism and religious bigots, that's the worst place to practice democracy where the majority carries d vote in d sense that the majority of nigerians that re uneducated, tribalistic and religious bigots are in d majority and would vote dumbly, the reason democracy thrives in d UK, US is that a larger population of people are educated and they are not so tribalistic and there's freedom of religion.. That's y democracy has failed in nigeria. Secondly we need t operate a socialist economy more than a capitalist economy, we need to have more of government controlled services and less of capitalist organizations that underpays their workers and rein in profits at the detriment of economic growth, capitalist organizations needs to be regulated t make sure their workers are adequately paid and their corporate social responsibilities improved and targeted .. The changes nigerian needs is going to be a long one.. 1 Like |

Bimpe29: He didn't allow reconciliation committees and moves to work. Imagine, he said the 14 HoA members are not loyal hence he declared war against them threatening to deal with them. Reps committee were rejected, Senate committee were not received by him. The Party Reconciliation Committee, set up on the instructions of Buhari, headed by frm Chairman Akande, age 82, but you rejected them. So, if Obaseki is your son and he chose to tow this part, what would you do? Obaseki came to Lagos in January or so to apologize to Oba of Lagos on the incident that happened in Benin but he didn't consider it wise to see Tinubu then. Reporters ask him, he said it was the Oba of Lagos he came to see. Months after, you now gathered other governors to follow you when "Omoye has already entered the market" 6 Likes 1 Share |

Heathrow44: In your head, how do you expect a Nigerian president to rise independently without godfathers? Can you recall the number of times Buhari had contested before he won in 2015 through the help of the likes of Atiku, Tinubu, Kwakwaso, Okorocha, Oshiomhole, etc. Do you know how much it costs to run campaign through out the nooks and crannies of the country? I dey laugh. You can't do it alone, you need godfathers but what is required of you is to be a good manager of Men. 3 Likes |

madridguy:You are so ignorant and dumb on how Nigeria politic works. Who was the mediator if not Abba kyari. PMB trust Kyari so much that all his policies, decision making runs through him. At time Abba gives order and take certain important decisions that even buhari isn't aware of, untill his death. NO ONE IS HYPING KYARI BUT THAT IS THE FACT. YOU NEED TO WAKE UP AND BE ENLIGHTENED. |

oz4real83: You guys should leave BAT out of this. Many efforts were made to reconcile them; but the governor, egged on by the political neophytes and jobbers he surrounded himself with, refused all entreaties. Let me say a prayer for you--reply with Amen, if you believe Oshiomhole was wrong not to shield Obaseki from his fate this time around. Here go; May all the people you've helped, and will help along the way, treat you the same way Obaseki and his co-travelers treated Oshiomhole! Just respond with an Amen. 2 Likes |

I'm not one to do this but sometimes I just wonder why the Igbos on this platform hate the Yorubas so much lately. It is a known fact that the igbos can't stand the hausas, because an hausa man was the head of state during the time of the civil war where many igbo people were killed, but what with the recent hatred for the yorubas who have only been warm and loving to them? An igbo man on this platform would support everything anti-yoruba and always try to rubbish or run down any yoruba name that is mentioned in a post here. Tinubu and Osinbajo readilly come to mind here. Where is this hatred really coming from guys? Isnt it easier to love than hate? I mean why continue to hate on others, Yorubas or not, especially when they don't hate you back in return? We all know that politics is a game of numbers. So how will an igbo man stand the chance of becoming the president of this country if all y'all keep hating on the other 2 major tribes? It's time to quit hating and let love lead my people. Peace! 3 Likes 1 Share |

ijustdey: Helping Obaseki would have weakened their party and created opportunities for gangsterims by those in powers in the future. Obaseki refused reconciliation twice, Obaseki refused members of his own party from state assembly to function and even declared there seats vacant, Obasekei toook the party to court, obaseki gazetted a law against political gathering. If I were Obaseki I will not even appear before the screening committee. Besides what is happening in Edo state Oshiomole saved APC in the last election he vehemently opposed to governors imposition. 1 Like |
