For once I agree with Fayose. Obasanjo’s statement was totally insensitive and irresponsible. He did not behave like an elder at all. Oju lagba nya, Agba o kin ya enu.

While it may be true that Kashamu was involve in drug trafficking, Obasanjo himself is no saint. He looted the federal treasury when he was president so he lacks the moral right to mock another person. Baba should also remember that he will die one day and people will also mock him in dead.

As an elder stateman, OBJ could have just passed his unsolicited condolences without firing any shots, haba.

Kashamu is dead, so will everyone at the appointed time.

It's not unexpected anyways that those of them who were relegated in PDP by Kashamu in the state would naturally rejoice over his death.

Let his creator judge him according to his deeds.

This idea of respecting the memory of the dead simply cos they're dead is senseless. Everyone eventually dies, no big issue.

Thing is the evil men do lives with and AFTER them.

Once we're gone, it's the memories of the quality of life the person lived they're remembered and spoken of. Of course you don't expect people to eulogize you at death if you lived all wrong; or you expect them to rewrite your history? That's criminal.

You lived wrong or right, expect your deeds to be talked about in that light.

Very simple law of nature and no one must truncate that.

Every religion and decent culture respects the dead. Leave their deeds to God to judge them.

And if anyone must judge them after they are gone, they should normally be people they did bad/evil to. Not by someone like OBJ who is possibly a worse person than Kashamu.

He acts holier whereas we all know his true colour.

Say, anyone, even Satan can actually call you out for your evil deeds. It doesn't matter the person's pedigree; doesn't negate anything. What is, is.
What matters is the subject lived a rough life that was contrary to equity and good conscience. He lives with the consequences and the memories subsist after.

No sane/decent culture or religion holds dear the memories of anyone that subjugated or put them through any form of misery. If you know any, mention.

History is replete with terrorists activities of people that are long dead. You don't tell me those humans are seen or spoken of in any positive way.

If you want to be remembered in any good way, just-live- good. Simple unbiased truth of life..

Unfortunately, you or OBJ do not have evidence the deceased lived a rough life. Many have eulogized him since his passing less than 24 hours ago.

And it matters who says what after a soul is gone. Anywhere in the world, it sounds absurd, pontificating and hypocritical for a thief to call out a smaller thief. That's an incontrovertible fact!. OBJ is worse in deeds and character than the deceased he's mocking.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands!

Judge not lest you be judged. Kashamu is dead gone forever all litigation, hassle, stress, politicking ends. There was no point mocking him even in death. Every soul most taste death. And it doesn't matter whether you are good or bad you will still die.

Now, Obasanjo is a bitter and vindictive old man who never forgives a passived wrong. How many times has he tried to vilify MKO. And indeed anyone he doesn't like.

Kashamu will answer for all is deeds accordingly before his creator and so shall every single one of us. Therefore, it's callous, utterly distasteful for mocking a man because he died. Really? for what purpose so that God can take note?

See sermonizing!

Listen to what we are telling you - it's the height of hypocrisy for a devil-reincarnate to condemn a person of lesser devilish character. And OBJ isn't even talking because the dead person was bad but because they had grouses which the man came out top of him. It was one of such issues that drove him out of PDP.

The common culture/wisdom is that once a party in a fight dies, the fight ends. Why is OBJ fighting a dead man? Old age should come with wisdom.
