How Odiec Smuggled Candidate For Ondo Lg Poll by DaParrot01: 10:01pm On Aug 13, 2020
As the day zooms into another, the tension ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Ondo State has aggravated serious concerns.

The intention and ability of the Ondo State Electoral Commission ODIEC to conduct a credible, free and fair elections is on a serious doubt.

Noting that the election body has failed to conduct the election twice before now, first in 2018 and in April 2020 as the election was postponed two weeks to the election in later date for no just reason.

These and many activities of ODIEC have brought the people of the state to a hopeless juncture.

The case of Ileoluji/Okeigbo local government is pathetic has ODIEC has collided with African Democratic Congress ADC to smuggle their chairmanship candidate ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE into the poll.

Hon Rotimi AKINWAMIDE, the chairmanship candidate of the ADC who is by means of the electoral act is ineligible to either vote or be voted for as he is not a registered voter in Nigeria.

The mathematics of how Hon Rotimi AKINWAMIDE was screened by ODIEC without possessing a valid voter's card is still a question which can only be answered by ODIEC and ADC.

A thorough search through INEC's voters database has brought no result for the ADC candidate.

With over 20 AKINWAMIDEs, it is quite unfortunate that the name ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE could not be found as a registered voter.

Checking through other candidates, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Hon Akinsuroju Temidayo Michael was found to be registered at Unit 002 of Ward 3.
