Nigeria Ministry of Power has begun the Construction of a 132/33KV Transmission Substation at Kabba, Kogi State to Improve Electricity Transmission and Distribution to improve the country power supply.




Project commenced in 2017 and was financed under the NEGIP whose funding ended in 2018, the Financing is now being covered under NETAP with completion slated for December 2020.

Gantries and support structures have been erected, while Equipment erection is currently ongoing after which Termination and Energising is expected.




When completed, it is expected to supply Electricity to 19,200 homes within Kabba and Environs.

So far there has been improvement of power supply in some areas of the country with the Government already have some ongoing power project to increase the capacity of electricity distribution in the country.




Project is under the supervision of the Transmission Company of Nigeria.

For now, their leaders are backward and should learn massively from Northern states like Borno and Kano.


With all their resources. Their leaders are only concerned with federal government free drops of palliatives... Because they share boundaries with the FCT.


Noticed that, the entire north central is underdeveloped.

Great development.
It is only Kabba and Egbe town that are currently enjoying constant power supply in that area.

Had Buhari been our President since 1999, Naija power would have been stable and our infrastructure would have been better than South Africa. The Poverty Development Party is to blame for all these mess.
