I don't see atiku winning against any strong candidate in 2023. It doesn't matter whether the candidate is from the south or north. What played out during last presidential election is a clear evidence that atiku is not as popular as we thought he is, especially in the north. pdp should be wary of presenting him again in 2023.

Wike and secondus might probably be on the same page in south south, but as far as national politics is concerned, the two are nursing different political interests. Irrespective of where the PDP party chairman may emerge from, the Presidential ticket of the party will be carried by Northerner. There will be primary election and the greedy & desperate Politicians who knows age & time isn't on their side are still dreaming of occupying No. 1 seat of the nation.
On the other hand APC's Presidential ticket will be zoned to South. It's left for the southerners to choose between losing to PDP by choosing wrong candidate who can't be sold to the entire nation or fielding strong, credible & sellable candidate who can beat any of the PDP candidate.
One of Atiku, Kwankwaso or Tambuwal may inevitably carry the flag of PDP come 2023 while APC?
