The curfew does not really have anything to do with Corona virus control directly. It is actually meant to tackle crime that may emanate from hunger and idleness but Nigeria is only good at making beautiful laws and very poor at implementing it.

In my opinion 12am - 4am is not bad. I don't know why some Nigerians are complaining. Shouldn't you be in your bed fast asleep at that time of the day anyway?

In the country where I live curfew is from 9pm - 4:49am of the following day and the citizens are okay with it because they understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic. So Nigerians should thank God that theirs is from 12 midnight till 4am. That's just 4 hours of curfew. Suck it up! It's for your own good.

Stay woke people. Stay vigilant. I don't know why I feel this curfew is in place to allow herdsmen travel down south in droves in the cover of night.
