Aa you've seen most people in Edo State and also on nairaland that claim to support obaseki are 98% Esan .

The reason for this is because they are hoping after obaseki finished another 4 years, the governsohip position will reach their hand.

Well too bad for them, obaseki is already a goner

Let's look beyond governorship moving to Edo Central, what moral Justification does APC and their can candidates have to contest an election in Edo.
Ize-Iyamu is facing corruption charges,

The OP is just a myopic thinker who doesn't understand the workings of politics. There is an unwritten agreement on rotating the governorship position between the southern (Bini), central(Esan) and northern(Etsako) senatorial zones. Oshiomhole is from Etsako and he did 8 years, Obaseki is from South and has done 4 years, it is only wise that the Esan people support him to complete his second tennor so that power can come back to the central. That is called politics of inclusiveness. For the records, Esanland has always been a PDP zone because of the influence of late Tony Anenih So, with Obaseki decamping to PDP, the odds is already in his favour.

Same Moral Justification that made PDP contest Edo or any Election for that matter

After all the 700m corruption charges was as a result of Goodluck Jonathan of PDP ordering Okonjo iweala of PDP to release $2billion USD Arms fund to Sambo Dasuki of PDP which Sambo Dasuki sent 700m to Ize Iyamu through PDP chieftain Tony Anenih for 2015 Election campaign

APC used financial instrument called loan like other countries of the world eg US , UAE and France to finance infrastructural development like the expansion of Enugu International Airport runway to accommodate International flights, Second Niger Bridge, Onitsha river port, Lagos Abeokuta Ibadan rail line, Lagos Ibadan expressway, Kaduna Abuja rail line, Kano, Abuja , Lagos, Portharcourt New Airports terminal and many wonderful projects

What exactly did PDP do for 16 years besides looting?

Power coming to Esanland or not, Esan has always supported pdp because it is a tribe that believes in values and loyalty.

Binis can keep deceiving themselves, after all we have seen the videos of oba passmark for apc.

It is still bini that talks from both sides of the mouth, as if una believe in the so called inclusiveness.

Esan gave their pdp slot in the last two election to Charles Airhavbe, Ize iyamu (both traitors are now in apc as usual) just for bini to play their part but they opted for oshomole and his then stooge.

Now oshomole is a monster to them
