In so much that that is true, Obaseki should stay clear of senseless political bickering & face governance that Edo people have given him a privileged mandate to exercise. Pride can also destroy him.

This is not senseless political bickering.
Also he's still in a celebratory mood. Edo people know he is a performer so don't worry yourself

Obaseki is a nincompoop, why same obaseki seeking and prostrating before Tinubu to help him out before the apc's primary.
Obaseki should know that kingmakers are not the king, but they eat more than the king.

In the case of IMO Mr Nwosu contested primary election in both AA and APC..

Obaseki was disqualified at APC and only contested 1 primary election in PDP..

Ope you get the point cool

The law said so long as he sort for nomination in the the first party he isn't suppose to contest in another party... For the same election

WATCHOVER:

Which law are you taking about? Is it the Law in Ikeja or the one in Kogi.
Obaseki has already won.
It is settled even in heaven.

Meanwhile Ondo must rise because Ondo is not a family business
Don't mind them. Did he actually sought nomination from two parties? He collected form from APC but was disqualified from contesting the primary unlike if he was allowed to contest & then failed. Anyway, there are brilliant lawyers on NL to enlighten us the more. At the same time, I would advice him to thread softly softly. die die, wayo wayo, poko a poko etc

Keep talking, it’s your time.

He is relevant when they masterminded your victory at the polls in 2016 but now irrelevant because you fell out with them.

Well, Edo people will prevailed, I hope you perform better than Oshiomhole going into your next 4 years so that your story can end well.

The Nigerian voters are now wise, they vote personality now. So if you fail to perform they will just switch and vote another party like a tsunami.

Mumu....if he masterminded his victory as you claimed ....why did he fail in masterminding his failure....Tinubu overrated himself.

I'll advice my Beloved Governor Obaseki to concentrate on the mandate given to him by Edo people and give them visible dividends of democracy and leave too much talk. A matured man doesn't talk too much. Work hard and your works will speak for you. Ask Makinde of Oyo state. May God help you to work very hard for Edo people. It was a divine mandate.

Obaseki should Calm down.... the battle is about taking a new leaf...

He might be disqualified on the grounds that He sort for nomination in 2 different political party for the same election...

which is against the law... (AA in imo state)

Not same conditions my guy....unlike imo, in obaseki's case, Obaseki had officially tendered a resignation letter to the APC terminating his membership of the party, then officially registered membership of a new party PDP....this process was not done in imo.

Remember that many presidential and even gubernatorial candidates have also swapped party to other parties to fly the flags of their new party after they failed to clinch the nomination of their previous parties...the issue is when you don't go through the right official process of resigning from your previous party and officially registering in your new party.

Mr governor your fight and focus should be giving Edo state good governance and plenty infrastructure. Stop looking for unnecessary fights and distractions.

Even if you fight Tinubu and won (which is "likely" unlikely) you would have wasted the time to give your people what they voted you in for.

I swear. I've been meaning to ask which one is "national leader" when there's a constitutional national chairman?
Once again Baba is overrated cheesy
. We have medical doctor, also Doctor of book and same Honorary doctor they all addressed as Dr. Same thing applied to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC has national Chairman and if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is called National leader it's an honourary tittle given to him by the members of the party. It's now Obaseki woke up from sleeping that he can say Tinubu national leader is not constitutional? Obaseki know that power is transient and being a governor last not forever.

This is how these immature politicians derail themselves from their agenda and governing. Instead of taking the high road and reaching for effective governance, he's busy spewing self destructive and immature counter productive rubbish.

Politics is always about wining and losing, nothing more, it's never about continued political rants, negativity and needless fights.

Many clueless and baby politicians don raise shoulder to talk rubbish, but at the end of the day, they always carry delegation to Bourdillon to prostrate and reconcile.

This is just too juvenile and unbecoming.

APC or PDP winning doesn't make any difference until a common man can sleep peacefully in his house, get education and have food on his table.
