I want medical personnel tell us why we like sprawling hospital designs in Nigeria particularly for public hospitals.

What is the reasoning behind having hospital buildungs strung out and dispersed over a wide area such that radiology is on Mars, the surgery is on Neptune, the A+E on Mercury while the wards are asteroids, here, there and everywhere.

In large hospitals like LUTH or BUK Teaching you need a tour guide to find a patient and quite a while ago when running around for blood for a relation it was so hectic between the blood bank, labs and treasury that day that I could have been admitted for stress....

All those scattered matchboxes can conveniently fit into a single building either on multiple floors or properly integrated such that communication is more effective and perhaps a few more lives can be saved in cases of emergency.

Note almost all govt health centres are still being funded by govt 100percent without govt getting any funds from the facility. Healthcare in Nigeria is more of charity by govt to his people.

My memory of immanuel hospital was when we went to take my grandma corpse from the mortuary for burial. Those guys beautified her with lipsticks, powder etc damn my uncle wasn't impressed cos my grandma was never slayqueen. She was homely, Godly and a sincere christian. I miss u Akaka.

Lol Igbo people are one funny set of bigots. They are all over the state doing legal and illegal businesses. But their hatred for the state and indigene is appalling. God will never allow any enemy of akwa Ibom living in akwa ibom to prosper. Last last you will carry your luggage and go back to your useless state. Akwa ibom has the best network of road after Abuja and some northern states. Aside the unemployment issue in the state which of course is a Nigerian problem. An average akwa ibom person can afford 3 square meal irrespective of what he does for a living. When you want to badmouth another person state please start by telling us your state.

Am not a spoke man of this govt but lemme try and enlighten u on how govt work.
Responsible govt work on budget, once u get it right then u r at the path of development .
First our state budget for 2020 was above 400billion naira, monies from fed allocation for the year will be a little above 180billion, our igr is less than 40billion, if u add it up it is between 220billion.
We have huge deficit.
Now there r 3 components in a budget, capital, recurrent and debt servicing .
Budget is not prepared by the govr, but by heads of ministries, dept's and agencies supervised by the commissioners manning those ministries.
When next u want to complain and run it mouth check the budget size then come back and let's gist.
