Yes he is and yes it did..if he avoids his triggers well and takes his medication appropriately, he can stay 3-4 months without an episode and in the event of one happening, it is peaceful and not violent at all..

okay shah. My own triggers are the following:

1. mental stress
2. lack of sleep
3. COLD especially
4. Anxiety, fear or panic.

These incidents make my seizure very violent and twice I have been knocked off unconscious for several hours after the epileptic seizure set in though I didn't produce foaming in my mouth nor gnash my teeth. Just violent shaking of the body especially my two arms and legs.


The frightening aspect is that recently my seizure has reduced to daily shakning of the hands. Especially shaky fingers and I can't control it. When my fingers are rested on a bed or desk they don't shake but once i stretch then forward you observe them shaking. The muscle of my facial cheeks also twitch or tremble softly whenever I smile.

Gosh! I've gone to hospital and seen a neurologist. He gave propanolol and bromazepam and one other drug. Only the bromazepam calms me down the other two are trash but I can't rely on bromazepam to put an end to my hand shaking because it can build tolerance. Meaning 1.5mg of bromazepam can work for 2months but i'll need 3mg of bromazepam 3months after in order to calm myself down. Body tolerance has been built to 1.5mg

Don't know if the Tegrotol can cool my daily hand shaking without building toleranc like bromazepam. I will ask my doctor of it today. I've gone for EEG scan and my result will be out today too. No CT scan yet but I will request my doctor to send me to it.
