They should just use power budget to buy us gen sets at compound level or district level.

How can govt be subsidizing power on one hand and be needing less than what is spent to subsidize the sector as private intervention?
In other words, they have successfully transfered monies to private hands and now want it back as private investments.

Why was Nigeria created in the first place, how long will this crooked Politicians continue to take us for a fool.

Nigerians need to take the Bull by the Horn to challenge this present Government for massive restrucring of the Nation. If we continue like this, in one millions years we wont achieve any tangible development.

I expected that by now the Endsars protest would have turn to End bad Governernance protest.

They known the next protest is electricity. They better fix it up. Before it turns to another protest.

I support you fully because electricity is a fraud in Nigeria, no light but we are paying more for what is not there. Imagine government deceiving us that the electricity tariff hike is suspended but the latest bill reflections the new increase. #ENDOPENDAYSCAM

Fixing electricity is key for our economy to grow.
But where will this money come from?

What happened to all the cashinflow in the oil sector?

Meanwhile;

We are not stopping at End SARS.

SARS has Actually Ended.

Since this is already what WE COLLECTIVELY WANT, THEN, It has ENDED.

We need to Correctively Readdress Our PROTESTS into ACTIVISM.

It's HIGH TIME We Started ACTING.

PROTEST is CHEAP, just as TALK is CHEAP.

For Over a week now; A National Protest that involves addressing the safety of Citizen's Life is CARELESSLY Left Unaddressed.

Doesn't this show to Us That We Have No Government?

We have a Clueless People Running A No-Government For Us.

By now; it is very obvious that the Political Clowns Representing Us in Government Positions aren't available to do what we have been asking for.

Hence; We must Quit Protesting and Start ACTING ON OUR BEHALF.

We Urgently Need To Start Working on Public Societal Solutions that Addresses Our Present Predicaments.

It's time to share the link of this thread to others so that we can start contributing to our Societal Solutions.

SARS Has ENDED.

BAD GOVERNANCE Has Ended.

What is Next for Us is To Start Taking Immediate Actions To COLLEVTIVELY CREATE A NEW ENGAGING GOVERNMENT OF THE YOUTH.

All the invested billions has not improved anything

Allow wholly owned private investors to generate and sell electricity at a profit. Their lines can be optional

Are these people not even ashamed of consistently seeking and sinking funds without result?

Where's the account for all the electricity projects for the past decade? Let's probe it first before seeking additional funds!

All these rubbish will soon end.

The only way you can get more private investment on power is simple

Allow the discos and gencos control the prices of power.

Yes,we will pay 70naira per kWh,but the big rule of investment is putting in more money to make more money

And no one is going to invest in a sector where the sales price is less than the production price

It costs 53 naira to produce one kWh in Nigeria and we sell it at 28 naira per kWh. At the end of the day, no investor is going to invest in a loss making venture

Unless government wants dash
