Where are you getting you information from? Fox news or OAN? . Joe Biden is more likeable here than Clinton and the way Trump has handled the pandemic and all the chaos have pushed people away from him. Each state is alloted number of college votes based on population - California gets say 55 while a smaller state like Vermont can get 3.
Winner of each state gets all the college votes (winner takes it all per state).
Whoever gets majority of the college votes in total is elected president
