Nigeria may face the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, in coming days as oil workers have been ordered to down tools nationwide.

Oil workers under the aegis of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria were ordered by the association to vacate their duty posts.

The order was issued in a letter, dated November 8, 2020, and signed by the General Secretary, PENGASSAN, Lumumba Okugbawa, which was also copied to the Central Working Committee members of the association.

Okugbawa told our correspondent in Abuja that the strike was to kick against the failure of the government to make any concrete move as regards the differences between PENGASSAN and government on matters bordering on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System.

Indeed. We are in the Next level.

Everybody keep on complaining about this IPPIS. First, it was SSANU, NASU, ASSU & now PENGASSAN.

FG does not even care cos they're part of the profiteers of this fraudulent platform.

the problem is that if government decided to correct all the error everybody is pointing out on the IPPIS the thing will become grossly inefficient, financially!

The common error being pointed out by several bodies is this illegal deductions which leads to payment of irregular salaries.
They should fix that first.

The point is, nobody can do it shocked
To me, it seems that at the initialization/customization of the IPPIS software the FG officials unilaterally supplied information and data which was fed into IPPIS. Unfortunately, it seems you can only configure once, subsequent adjustment to configuration data attracts fees embarassed

Right.

Even if it's easily adjustable, the Government's lackadaisical attitude is adding to the problem at hand.
