Does anybody know her true credentials?

Have even her or her husband attended a university or completed secondary school?

The difference between Dame Patience Jonathan and Aisha Buhari is 7up. Aisha appears digitalised and Dame is analog. Haters of BB leave Aisha alone. No office of First Lady under BB. QED

Stop making excuses for her.

I'm sure she was the one who wrote the script and even practised it for several days.

Yet she struggled delivering her speech and legitimate questions have been raised.

Has anybody heard her pronounce umbrella?

It may be worse that GEJ's wifey.

@ Poster,

Please check your info well before you dish out any information on this forum. IBB's late wife could not have been classier than Justice Fati Abubakar (who practiced law for years before she was elevated to the bench- Oga Ojo elevetated his wife to the Court of Appeal when he was Attorney General of the Federation while Odili elevated his wife to the same Court of Appeal when he was Governor- yet Abubakar did not elevate his wife to Court of appeal and subsequently Supreme court when he was the president). I don't think you can compare her even in dressing and speech or other stuff to these bunch. Even Stella Obasanjo was also in her own class.

By the way please help us polish the P's wife so that she doesn't go round the globe embarrasing us. If her husband is not the President nobody will bother her. As for Aisha, if her husband becomes President they would Behind her up. I do not see any reason for this brohaha.

Best regards.

Ribadu`s wife is also very pretty sha. Fulani men marry beautiful wives it seems. This aisha is fine but she could be mistaken for a yoruba woman. She looks like the former girlfriend of someone i know. And also like someone else i know too.

some words are difficult for some people in some areas to pronounce.

With all due respects, not mocking any tribe:

Lagos kids have problem with "r" "oi e o pe" instead of "ori e o pe".
Ibadan have theirs with "sh" that is why you hear jokes like , kini soo (show) soo suo (show sure)
Delta (Urhobo in particular) don't callĀ  "L" well, they call "Nateef" instead of Lateef
Hausa /Fulani cant call "P" , "feople" instead of people.

I have heard Ibos callĀ  "umbllera" instead of Umbrella.

so its just accents,

Even there are American and British pronunciations. Anti is called as written by British while Americans call it 'antai". It is preventive in British and preventative in America

wow people, this is hilarious. how come we bother so much about how they say what they say than what they really say? we all didn't go to school and cannot know how to speak English Language. its not our fathers language. how is that an issue? if the wife of the president of another country makes a mistake on a national television, we hardly notice it but wait until the wife of our dear president make the same mistake and Nigeria will stand still for weeks. comeoff it guys, how is that so so important? so we all know that she has a thick accent, big deal and we also know that Buhari's wife has thicker accent, bigger deal. check out the wives of the presidents of oither countries or even presidents of some countries, they don't speak English at all so you guys get a grip on your selves. don't you know that if you don't know how to speak English by the time you finish secondary school, you will never be able to speak good English in your life?

our fathers language or not , if you are the first lady of a country where English is the official language. you have an obligation to at least , ahan, at least manage na!! it is not the accent, it is wrong pronunciation, they are two different things nothing excuses umbrella to become HUMBULLELA, she is an ambassador of our dear nation by being the first lady, we cannot be disgraced. Shelling is not the same as accent.

nigeria has suddenly become our dear nation because people dont like patience?
Re: Buhari's Wife Speaking At A Gathering by obetodun: 1:20pm On Mar 22, 2011
Buhari's wife was very measured in her approach, I'm sure she could have conversed comfortably in english and discussed the same issues she picked up on in the speech. Mama Umblerra however bulldozed through her speech, which is reminiscent of someone that has no inkling about conversing in the English language. Aisha Buhari's diction is also miles better and she has better respect for punctuation marks.
