Pierocash: You're absolutely right. I sweat on my palms and feet. And then whenever I seem to fall ill, after sweating, it would seem I just left a swimming pool and I will be okay. Thought I was the only one 1 Like |

Bluezy13:normally apart from physical activity sweating on ur palms could occur from the firing of your nervous system mostly when u nervous. So if ur sweating occurs during when ur nervous then certainly nothing to worry about cos its a normal body function. But if u sweating excessively on ur palms and top of ur lips even when the weather is cold and u not doing any physical activity then it could be due to low blood sugar or diabetes.Sometimes when women are entering menopause they might experience the weird sweating. But if the sweating u talking about u get it when u nervous then its a normal body function.again if this sweating occurs with dizziness then check ur blood sugar if its too low. |

lefulefu: I have been sweating since I was born. I guess I had low blood sugar or diabetes while in my mother's womb. |

lefulefu: It is called hyperhidrosis. It can not be cured. There are antiperspirant pills that are recommended but they have side effects and are not effective for everyone...it may work or it may not work. Surgery is recommended for the removal of sweat glands in the affected areas but it is highly expensive and also has 50% chance of success. In conclusion, it is advise one manages it, because one may be lucky to escape it as one grows older. I know all that already. It is not a sickness. It is natural. Thank you for your contribution. |

Bluezy13:it cant be cured but can be managed true.but what i am saying is someone should go to the hospital and do a test if he has any accompanying medical condition that makes him or her to sweet excessively even when the weather is very cold.if no medical condition then he can just manage his or her excessive sweating by what u just mentioned above.but first the person should check if he has any medical condition ..especially if he is feeling dizzy wen sweating heavily. |

lefulefu: If you've been following up this thread, you would understand that the sweating in question (as reported by more than 3 victims) is not a function of underlying medical condition(s). Right now, I'm finding it difficult typing because my hands are moist. |

Bluezy13:my brother u cant be mister know all o.i believe there was a story here of a nairalander here who died of typhoid fever. From what they said of the story the guy was self medicating...probably treating himself for malaria since malaria and typhoid have the same symptoms. If u are sweating heavily even when the weather is cold then just dont assume that it is this cos of what google said. Not saying Google is wrong but google didnt do any body examination on you.Meet your doctor let him check on ur blood sugar then ur blood pressure then if everything is fine then no cause for alarm. |

lefulefu: I hope my English language is not deterring your understanding of the message I am passing to you. I don't wish to seem arrogant but it is common sense to know that for three to four persons who experience the same thing to tell you that it is not a medical abnormality, shows that at least one person among them must have seen a doctor. Would I be telling you repeatedly that is not a medical problem if I hadn't involved a medical practitioner ?? Let us call it a day. Goodnight. |
