And what happened to Injustice Abang court should make pronouncements on him, this is the 2nd time an upper court is dismissing his judgment on ground of bias, I such a character should be weeded out of the justice temple.

He is right.

If you want to try someone, do it properly, don't do selected trial.

Jonathan, NOI, Dasuki etc have case to answer in that trial.

PDP has seen a willing judge to bribe and alter the course of justice. I expect the EFCC to proceed to the Supreme Court where there can't be compromise. I am sure the Supreme Court will trash the Appeal Court decision.

Nigerian appeal court nullified Olisa_Metuh 7 conviction is no surprise.

Money in Nigeria buys murder conviction, not to talk about 7 years jail sentence.

Now, Olisa_Metuh is a thief. I have followed his trial from day one and leading to conviction.

The N400 millions he is accused of came from $1.2 billion Goodluck Jonathan stole to get himself re-elected.

Olisa_Metuh has admitted to it. By that admission he earned himself a conviction.

So, why is the appeal court said the conviction was bias?

That tells you this appeal court judge got paid to change Olisa_Metuh jail time.

Can't trust anything that comes from Nigeria

Atleast Metuh called Jonathan , Dasuki and Okonjo to come and tell the truth but they shamefully absconded

Common sense isn't common sha

U are unintelligent and u are still following apc n their stupid fake n false media trials.

U cant even detect a witch hunt wen u see one. Did any court summon GEJ or NOI They bloody had no case to answer and apc knows Metuh never received any illegal money, they chose to lock him up to justify the heavy n fake 2.1 billion dollars dasuki scam that they sang before the election. Same dasuki is chilling @ home, buhari locked him and refused that his case will proceed in court for 4 years.

Grow up n be smart, NOI is top big for ur useless failed state and can never join any FoooOOooOOooOoOOooooL to loot money, Do u even know how big she is? She left nigeria and -

Twitter called her to join their board.

Gavi, one of the biggest vaccine makers on earth called her to join their board.

Asian Development bank called her to join their board.

Even SA setup an economic recovery team to boost their economy and called her to join the board.

U think thieves are sort after across all continents to come n work? Be guided abeg

He is brave at civil cases?.....someone who should cover his head in shame?

The IG of Police at a time publicly stated that Abang should handle his cases.

Imagine a Police Chief telling the NJC that he wants a particular judge to handle his cases, imagine. Where have you heard of that?

Abang has one of the highest number of cases overturned by Superior Courts and you think he should be proud of himself?

He ruled on the Okezie Ikpeazu tax-returns case, the Appeal Court judges of five lashed the hell out of him. Ogunwumiju (JCA at the time), said Abang RAPED democracy and was extremely biased.
The same thing these judges are still saying.

He ruled on the Metuh case now...another appeal Court judge has totally tongue-lashed him.

Dasuki case.....an Appeal Court judge sent him to the cleaners.

In the Jimoh Ibrahim/Ali Modu Sherriff case....the Appeal Court judges called him FRAUDULENT. Did you attack them?

All the Appeal Court judges are saying the same thing but you on nairaland, know the law more than them.

This is someone that the then Chief Judge, Auta, had to take case files away from him because of the way he handled cases.

This is an Abang that had the highest number of petitions when he was sitting in Lagos.

Or the Abang, that Bage (JCA at the time) pooh-poohed before a sitting Court?

He will even be shocked at your statement.
Your backing him is even making me uncomfortable.

Don't be disappointed in me....be disappointed in Abang.

The person you quoted should go sit on the bench of the SC and give his own verdict.

Nobody is defending Metuh but why will Superior Courts all say the same thing about a particular person on different cases?

Is he the only FHC judge?
Is Ekwo not there?
Taiwo, Giwa, Ijeoma Ojukwu....are they not judges like him?

Good cases, he will bungle them.

He should continue messing up himself.

This is either bribery or just incompetence.

An appeal court only reviews issues of law, not facts.
So-called “bias” is irrelevant unless the judge did not apply the law.

If the judge correctly applied the law, his so-called “bias” is IRRELEVANT.
The appellant court should limit its ruling on whether the judge misapplied the law.

The appellate court should tell us how Judge Abang’s purported “bias” led him to actually misapply the law...
If a judge CORRECTLY applies the law, it is irrelevant whether or not he likes the defendant (assuming we can read his mind).
