What's so special about professors becoming a local government chairman? Professor at what age, we should be talking and thinking on bringing youths into political positions not qualifications. We need young vibrant youths in politics and not those aged corrupted men with dubious mindset. Who professor help?
VP and so many state governors are professors.
What has been their achievements so far.

So, why the emphasis on Professors emerging local government chairmen...Is the position too small or big for them? Let's see their performances!!!

It gives hope. If highly educated and exposed individuals take interest in local politics we may have the true development we are yearning for.Professor Zulum is considered a good governor , I believe that his level of education contributes to his quality as a man and a governor.

I don't know if school didn't pass through you or you drop out.

It's not about lining up behind an illiterate, it is what you can do and what you and doing the right thing

What will you say about cross river governor and deputy governor.
Both are professors
How far progress has the state been able to make

Nothing except the annual big English title for nonsense budgets

that bukar ibrahim was my registrar during my days in university of Maiduguri, now he's a common chairman.
Being a chairman of local government is not common in Nigeria because of money in it and other trappings of power.
