This is a good move, there are too many people in Lagos so it needs to be thinned out. Many people in Lagos shouldn't be in Lagos.

The uncontrollable and unneeded population is turning Lagos into a big slum, lawless and unruly state and the burden and pressure on the resources and meager infrastructure is unsustainable.

They need to tear down many illegal and unregulated settlements and impose some kind of deterrence to make Lagos unattractive and prevent people with no business in Lagos from moving to Lagos.

Start with those that are not Nigerians. Nigerians have every rights to live where they choose in Nigeria. I bet if you can be rid of people from Togo, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Ghana, Niger etc that are in Lagos, Lagos would be so decungested some people would no longer need worrying thire misplaced-priority skulls over Nigerians of different ethnicities making thire homes in Lagos.

Besides this, every reasonable Nigerian should support the sanitising of Nigeria's towns and cities. We need to move to the next stage. We can no longer exists with lawlessness at least of this type that we can handle. All states should be aiming to fix roads, crate sidewalks, clear roadsides of illigal structures or at least insists on a certain standard for illigal structures to adhere. We need to cover gutters, creat working refuse collections and do on.

Yes, they have every right to live where they chose in Nigeria, but not the right to take over public land or to create and live in illegal settlements, that's breaking the law, constituting nuisance and endangering the lives of other Nigerians.

This is the thing with many Nigerians, you can no longer live with lawlessness, but at the same time you are supporting and promoting lawlessness.

Your post makes no sense, it's full of meaningless rubbish and contradictions.

IPOBian, what is your business with Lagos to the extent you are throwing personal insults innapropriately ?

There is no genuine and well-meaning Lagosians who does not appreciate the damage unplanned and unapproved construction is doing to Lagos.

Most times people who put up or use these illegal constructions are given countless notices, over a long period of time, yet "they were never informed" is their standard response when the demolition team shows up.

Lagos should be supported always, not insulted, to do the right thing that benefits all users of the State regardless of whose Ox is gored.

It is a new Year. Some of you should look at yourselves and the many things you are doing wrong in your lives that I'll have a negative impact on your progress, that of your household and generations to come.

Alaaye are you paid to do this? The way you took panadol on this issue is amazing, always be calming down small small.
