While I am not a fan of Buhari, I have to commend the government for this feat.

It's only natural we hope that this administration sustains that positive effort.

You are just mentioning the attacks that were sponsored and orchestrated by your evil party in a bid to upturn Jonathan's administration. So unfortunate that the deed you championed has come back to hunt you. Agbaya oshi!

So sad,
Bragging over what you didn't have control over
Assuming the security have been able to nib various crimes at the bud then he will have justification for bragging.
As it stands it was the Almighty God that kept Nigerians, the Minister should not attempt to share glory with God. God doesn't delight in it

They ve been in power for over 5years but still talk like this is 2015....shameless lot

But seriously, everybody in this administration seem to be mocking Nigerians with opportunity they get... And such opportunities abound unfortunately.

The major problem of BORN TO LIE humans is that they live with a disability of the mind so that they forever remain incapable of thinking properly.

Nigeria has never witnessed a leadership with such propensity to lie and spread propaganda all over the place. We have never witnessed a leadership that never accepts their faults and failures.

For those who travelled to the east on the first of January, we can ask them their experiences on the Benin bypass. Fulani herdsmen seized vehicles loaded with passengers, killed some and herded others right into the bush. The irony there: soldiers were mounting a check point less than 400 meters away from the scene of crime without caring.

Never have people experienced such fear in this country travelling on our highways. None of the highways are safe all over the country. Between Abudu and Agbor you have danger waiting. All over Edo state, you have uncountable bandits on the roads.

Mr. Mohammed's claim is just one of those deceitful statements. Christians were asked to stay indoors. Even Christians on their own, knowing the security issues in their areas chose to stay indoors. The Muslim brethren too were indoors. Mr. Lai Mohammed should have celebrated his own new year in an open area in Borno to test the resolve of the bandits.

Truthfully this government is not able to handle the security issue and the major reason is the northern sentiment. That is, the bandits are northerners and they do not want to be seen attacking their own people.

i may not be a fan of the pdp but history the say, doesn't lie. When Jonathan pleaded with all of you to allow him do what buhari has done twice in this regime so there would be an end to fuel scarcity in Nigeria, people like buhari tinubu, etc came out to condemn it in a nationwide protest.
