The Spokesman to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for President Campaign Organization, Chief Segun Showunmi has bagged Amebo Newspaper NG awards 2020 as 'Icon Of Progress' today Tuesday 26th of January 2021 in Abeokuta.

The award according to the organizer, Solanke Ayomideji Taiwo is targeted to personalities who has contributed immensely towards human development in the recent time, mostly during the Covid-19 pandemic in the state and beyond.

Showunmi, after receiving the awards called on gentlemen in the media profession to enlighten the masses on the current security challenges of the country without any bias reporting, which he said will help Nigerians in choosing their leaders in the future election.
