First, let's leave sentiments. I don't care whether he is from south south or not. No reasonable Akwa Ibom indigene should vote for jonathan. What has he done for us. The Refinery that was supposed to be sited here is taken to other places like Delta and Bayelsa. Now Rivers State and Delta State will now have two refineries each. As the for the Gas plants and Fertilizer plant non is to be sited in Akwa Ibom State which is the higest producer of petroleum products. Yet there are taken to already filled up Lagos State. This would have been our opportunity to take our place in the oil industry of this country through acquiring jobs. Yet he has denied us this chance.

Secondly, the recent clash between ACN and PDP supporters because of PDP uncivilised conduct that let to many lives and properties worth millions of naira lost. He ordered the ACN gubernatorial candidate to be arrested for trial leaving the PDP gubernatorial candidate. That's injustice. Today, the ACN candidate is being tried for offence he did not commit and the Supreme court ruled that there is no case against him, yet our President under his nose allowed Governor Akpabio to rearrest Senator Udoedehe for another FALSE 9 count charge. Today he is being held at the State Police Headquarters. This is a slap to our Judiciary System.

Is this how the much talked about free and fair election is going take place when Federal Government supports their own candidate. This is ridiculous. Let's not vote for Jonathan, he has nothing to offer us, the much talked about GAS REVOLUTION will not have an impact on the live of an Akwa Ibomites.

Let's look elsewhere.

Jonathan's pal and Attack dog (Ringim) is now flagrantly disobeying the orders of a federal court to keep Akpanudoedehe in jail. This is not fair It is shameful that the police force is been used this partisanly by GEJ and the PDP.

The duo of Akwa Ibom State governor Godswill Akpabio and the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Hafiz Ringim, today[b] brazenly disobeyed a Federal High Court order order releasing from prison custody the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) candidate, Akpanudoedehe.

Niyi Akintola (SAN) told Saharareporters today that his team served the release order on the IGP, the Comptroller of Prisons in Akwa Ibom as well as the Chief Magistrate who had ordered Akpanudoedehe's imprisonment, but that the federal officials have ignored it. Another legal team has also filed contempt proceedings against the IGP but Justice Bello Adamu's court did not sit today due to a bereavement in his family.


Governor Godswill Akpabio is waxing stronger in defiance of the courts of the land because he enjoys the support of Goodluck Jonathan, the president of Nigeria who has remained silent in the face of the persecution of a major opposition candidate by one of his dependable campaign allies.[/b]"Who would have thought that tyranny would return to our national lexicon so quickly?" a political analyst said today.
