One of the sources said officials have reached out to some Fulani leaders and repentant bandits who have contacts with the bandits in order to negotiate the release of the victims. It was learnt that two prominent repentant Fulani bandits from Katsina and Zamfara States have been drafted to reach out to the kidnappers. “Already some breakthroughs are being made. We were able to establish that the abductors were Fulani boys from one of the camps in Kaduna forests, bordering Niger to the south and Zamfara to the north. We have made contacts already,” one of the sources said. Later some will say it's inappropriate to label all Fulani herders terrorist. Ok, how do I differentiate between, when I am already kidnapped or killed? Between, the bolded shows this FG knows how to get these terrorist but they refer to continue paying ransoms while innocent people get killed |

These terrorists are paid by the government to carry out these attacks and kidnappings, negotiate with them, pay them handsomely which they(terrorists) will use the funds to procure more weapons in preparation for 2023. The FG knows what it is doing. They can't fool us anymore. Tomorrow u will hear that Niger state government or a personnel from the FG come out to say they didn't pay a dime for the kids to be released. Make una use una tongue count una teeth. All these things are staged! |

Maxymilliano:At bolded the government isn't a client but a benefactor, if #50 million was actually paid, trust the government to write 500 Billions dollars. And at the end, it is the citizens whose infrastructure, healthcare, etc money will pay for it. Secondly, they will keep increasing everything to make more money from the people, fuel, tax, etc. The country is a scam! |

What sort of fu.ckery nation is this. Buhari has reduced this country to the cave of bandit and criminals. Everything is fake like his school certificate and our crime loving citizens look on. It shows something is fundamentally wrong with the people if they cannot stop this it makes the citizenry an accomplice in the whole shenanigan. Working like this will never bring peace, wealth and happiness. It will only bring, misery, poverty, pain, bloodshed and sorrow. Let this unsustainable contraption called Nigeria break now or the consequence shall be far worst and many needless lives will be lost. |

Racoon: I really like the northern leaders. They stand by their own at all cost. The 19 northern states agree on most things. The Nupes, Gbagis, Jukus, Tivs, Beroms, Kanuris respect the Hausas and Fulanis. In the south, the leaders are utterly selfish and of no use. Look at how they threw Kanu and Sunday Igboho under the bus. The southern states are in disarray, and disagree in most things. The Yorubas and the Ijaws are on their own. The very tiny Ikwerres and some Aniomas will hardly respect the Igbos. The educated but massively un-wise southerners believe they can fight the mighty north in small patches... ...and this horrible supremacy mind set of the southern tribes will not end any time soon. We hardly hear of southern governors meeting... 1 Like |

Fulanis boys again and the government have idea of those who knows the kidnappers. Rather than use information to apprehend, they are using it to negotiate. This is scary. Everything is scary now about the country. |
