People act like PDP doesn't have widespread support. Most Nigerians are voting for candidates, not a particular party.

Regarding Mark, it must be conceded, however, that the man does command support among the Idoma people, and his win shouldn't really be that much of a surprise. He actually did a lot for them, what with the scholarships, the FM station, the rehabilitation of some schools, the Apa State agitation, etc.

I was actually surprised yesterday when the results had declared Onoja as the winner.
