Bros Subsidy is the easiest way to steal money, most money being stolen can be tracked this days or investigated if a new government comes in. With subsidy no way, subsidy is not about the price the claim the are paying, it is about the fuel snuggling cartel, that carries subsidized fuel across the border to sell at a higher rate.

Only the rich benefit

Whether you call them confused or not, is immaterial. If they allowed unregulated price led by market forces, the same you calling them names will still call them names. So for me, whatever will ensure that the devaluation of the Naira and increase in crude price doesn't affect the people that much, is very welcomed

How can a country that lacks adequate security, education and infrastructure be spending trillions on subsidies every year?

Even people who spend 300 naira on a bottle of beer and fifty thousand on olosho every night are complaining about petrol price.

It's time to kill that subsidy and all the corruption around it, anyone who doesn't want to buy in Nigeria can go and buy it for 450 in Cameroon. But, we must see what the government will do with the money removed from subsidies.

I AM DONE TALKING

You are not wise. I never expected better from a BMC lackey anyways.

You should be asking if they didn’t tell us they had previously removed subsidy? Didn't they say subsidy had been removed and denied every publication to the contrary?

How can they even removed what never existed as Nigerians were told before coming in. With the way things are going, Buhari is even getting worried with how the president is running the country. Meanwhile, prices are consciously been increased in preparation for Dangote refinery cash out. Pump price is to hit #500

It is time the youth flushes out all this criminals who come in different political party branding.

These people and the entire RCCG actually believed that Buhari had what it takes to lead Nigeria into a first world.

These people went to school. Many are professors. Some claimed to have direct access to God.

Some are gifted with "prophesies."

They read history. They understood international relations. They understood how societies work or so we thought.

They were more than 20 years old in 1983 when Buhari shot himself to power.

They saw Buhari murder innocent Nigerians in 1983.

They saw Buhari destroy the economy in 1983.

They saw the role Buhari played in Abacha's government.

They read all the threats of violence by Buhari against the nation.

They saw Buhari harass Lam Adesina the Oyo State Governor due to Fulani herdsmen conflicts with locals in Oyo State.

They saw Buhari lead the sharia protest that claimed the lives of innocent Nigerians in 2001.

They saw Buhari and his minions open the gate of hell on innocent Nigerians when he lost the presidential election in 2011.

If Buhari was not speaking and defending his Fulani heritage he would be fighting to defend his religious heritage.

Never for once did he defend Nigeria or gave interview on how to rebuild the economy, education, power, health, etc.

They saw everything this man did. They knew him too well to miss the little details of his violent life.

But they were united in hatred.

Hatred for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. One among the few Nigeria leaders that actually wanted Nigeria to work.

Hatred became a unifying force to push forward a false narrative.

They exploited his humility.

They exploited his kindness.

They exploited his humanity

They danced and made merry in Ojota. They ate, drank and danced away the destiny of a nation.

Saints Tinubu, Amaechi, Fashola, etc., led the chorus against ‘corrupt’ Goodluck Jonathan.

Tinubu a private jet owner and owner of Lagos, Amaechi a private jet owner and funder of Buhari campaign, Atiku a University owner paid with his civil service allowance etc wanted ‘corrupt’ Goodluck Jonathan out.

But the people did not see the moral paradox because you see - hate is a unifying factor.

They mobilised thugs to stone a sitting President.

They harassed his family wherever they went.

Because they are from the hated minority who must NOT be king.

For Kings must come from the Fulani lineage. Jonathan is Ijaw. Ijaws should not be Kings.

Jonathan must not loot also.

For looters must come from enablers of evil.

These are intellectuals.

Amongst whom are Pastors and Prophets.

Wisdom failed.

Prophesies failed.

WAEC issued a fake WAEC attestation to Buhari.

It is possible many Nigerian "intellectuals" are working with fake certificates.

A nation without conscience is a curse to its people.

We all are standing on the podium of history.

Humanity beckons.

Surely our children will read the roles we played in the salvation or annihilation of humanity.

Came across the write up and good to share for all Nigerians to read.

This administration has never been truthful for once. You increased pump price last by #40 telling Nigerian that subsidy has been removed.
Now you people are talking about another subsidy removal. Which of the subsidy is this one again?

Sebi you go school the recent hike in pms per price int'l is what necessitated a "new subsidy regime", by calculation we should be buying petrol for more than #200 but its less than 170 ..its no rocket science it has to be subsidy.
As much as i dislike the govt of the day we just have to share the truth when necessary

Do the maths, how much is pms per barrel and how much are we buying @ the pump locally ... when you note the difference ask yourself what is bridging the gap if not subsidy.

Bunch of lying liars...

Subsidy has to go, no doubt, but it is the manner that it is being done that is the issue.

These same clowns denied that there was ever subsidy on PMS before they came in & yet they do not seem it fit to apologise for misleading people.

To properly deregulate, associated costs must be reviewed downwards. & Expenses like bridging costs has to go.

Bridging costs only subsidies PMS for those up north & further inland.

How can fuel cost same thing in Lagos were the ports are & Sokoto?

If true deregulation takes effect, PMS in Lagos would be under #120 while it would cost over #200 in Sokoto. Now, that is deregulation & not this cock & bull they sell to their gullible praise singers.

Also, poor management of the exchange rate & related policies contribute to the increase.

This administration is useless all round.
