Yes, should they continue to work without getting paid?

Should they continue to risk thier lives to all sorts of diseases and risk bringing them to thier families for 5 thousand naira every month?

Should thier families continue to starve because they swore an oath ignorant people keep blackmailing them with?

Threats can't solve the problems.
1. Let government do her part then leave the rest.
2. By the we all join hand to pull down these useless democratic government, all of you will know and your eyes will open.
3. It is because all minister and other appointee were been pay well, they didn't buy food, petrol and other utilities from their earning.
4 .we are market the same market, same price.

Lol.
If the nigeria is good for working for doctors, u ll see drs coming in.
But instead, Drs are looking for how to run to Gambia, benin, Togo.

And our able minister, a doctor, is saying our drs are well paid.

In reality nobody in nigeria is half paid EXCEPT politicians, their relatives and cronies.

A country of bigotry

"By Tuesday, I will invite them back. If they become recalcitrant, there are other things I can do. There are weapons in the Labour laws, I will invoke them. There is no work, no pay." Ngige said.

Eskis sir, is your salary and monthly allowances not being paid as and when due?

These people are working really hard to save lives. How do you expect them to work on empty stomachs?
Should enforcing law be your modus operandi in solving situation like this?

Nigeria is in big trouble!

“Their employers have a role also to keep their business afloat, to keep patients alive. They can employ local doctors. We won’t get there but if we are going to get there, we will use that stick.”

That's part of the demands oga minister! There are a lot of doctors out there who are grossly underemployed, while government-owned facilities employ inadequate numbers, thereby contributing to terrible working conditions.

The good thing is these doctors can migrate to more organized and developed parts of the world where their services and skills are highly valued.
