What is holding me back is because i don't want history to repeat itself.

My mum commited suicide, when my dad fell sick and died, shortly after i was born, i don't want a repititioon, that is why i needed an alternative.

I have really think it through, and this is the best decision i can come up with, there is really nothing holding me back.

Nothing really is, i'm just thinking of an alternative from suicide.

I'm in an hunger spree already, but i doubt hunger do kills.

You are right, i am good at writing, and had multiple digital skills also, which can easily set me up as a freelancer.

Actually, she was doing very well with her business, and even bought some landed properties herself as she was an hardworking woman.
I guess she is too attached to my dad, as she never get over him, always moody whenever she saw a couple.

I am really trying to keep on holding on myself, but no support, no encouragement, and even my little source of livelihood is dried up, what then is left to hope for, what is?

I understand why she did that also, as i take after her emotionally.

If i love someone, it is usually a very powerful feeling, as i will regard that person above any other thing, also very dangerous to lost what i love, so i stay clear of relationship as i am still a young man.

So i understand why she died, it's an uncontrollable feeling, coupled with a strong will.

I've a brother, a 40years old who think I owed him and I should be the one taking care of him, any little thing, he'd blackmailed me with suicide, I'll be running up and down just to keep him alive. This's the guy I always go bankrupt just to support. I got tired after I gave him 450k 2019 for business. The first week of colleting that money, he sold the machine he bought with the money, within a month he started requesting for another money. I told him if you wanna die please go ahead because I'm not ready to give you 1naira... Since then he seat up, though I still support him whenever he needs my help but I won't kill myself because of him.

Let's learn to face our challenges and hope for better future, rather than committing suicide.

Whenever I wake up from a deep and sound sleep I always feel if I had passed to the other side, it would have been peaceful.

Yea, i am educated, atleast, i had my ssce certificate, but have been struggling to further my education, got some extra skill in digital marketing because i am quite inquisitive and learn whatever piqued my interest wherever i had the chance.

Do you know how old i am before comparing me to a 40yr old man? Have i not been keeping on by myself without nobody's help and when it became unbearable, is it a crime for me to cry out? Should i cry and die silently? Is that the best? Or do you think anyone can live alone?, don't i also live my life providing support to others whenever i can?

See, everyone is not "claiming" depression. Alot of people are actually depressed! That is why we need people to constantly lift us up either through cash or kind words. Nigeria is a really hard place to live in and I absolutely feel what the Op is saying. It's even worse for the men folk who can't find it easy to sell their body for money unlike girl. It's really depressing,the best is to try to talk him out of dying instead of telling him to just go and die cause I think one of his reasons for writing to get help or at encouragement. Op please be encouraged,after the darkest hour comes the morning!

I don't doubt that you are sincere unless proven otherwise. But if you are really having feelings of depression, you need to talk to a specialist while you are trying to find a way out of the financial struggles.

You can search online and get contacts and talk to a specialist for free. That's my advice. Don't start by putting suicide on the table.

I think i understand your meaning.
But you see, i lack a lot of basic amenities which makes most option impossible.

I'm not always depressed myself, i usually serve as a source of encouragement to others, but this is just too sudden and unbearable.
