A formal Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has been arrested.

According to premium Times media company, Mr Okorocha was reportedly arrested by operatives of economic financial crime commission EFCC in Abuja. sources told premium Times.

Efcc arrested him after a five hour standoff with the operatives, who trailed him to the location, said the antigraft agency, the formal governor was invited to the economic financial crime commission head quaters in It's Abuja office in connection with multiple corruption allegation against him.

Mr Okorocha, who is now senator declined to honour the invitation, a development that lead to infuriation and detectives take action and fan out to get him.

Right now Efcc is detainng Okorocha for interrogation over curruption allegations during his 8 years tenure as Governor.
