Hmmmmm, this is deep!
The Excess Crude Account was looted dry.
foreign reserves drawn down.
Federation Account, emptied.
We made the highest revenue in the history of our nation, But they still borrowed money to pay salaries!!!
And the economy was set on an irreversible path to recession.
NEVER AGAIN will our nation be that unfortunate.

We will get over this perilous time together in our nation.
Slow and steady we will get to the country of our dreams.
Nigeria will be great in our lifetime.
God bless Nigeria.

We Rise!
paid lie at it again.

No matter how hard the economy crashes, the ones up there are always covered.
It's the people who always have to bear the brunt!

I wonder if you get sense sometimes or plain blind to reality. How much do we currently pay to service debt? What was the money borrowed used for? What is the roi for the borrowed money?

You watch someone dig your grave where he will bury you alive and you keep clapping for him.

What a shame.

You can’t appoint a Finance minister based on ethnicity, but competence and pertinent experience.

Print more money. I said it that with Obaseki's revelation, they would be exposed in April FAAC. If not for Obaseki, they would have gone to print more money to spend.

On top of all these some people still went ahead and withdrew around 7 billion Naira from CBN.

It seems they have seen the writing on the wall and are trying to see what they can scramble out of the system before it finally collapses.

The current finance and economic team has ran out of idea to stabilize Nig. Economy.

Without massive industrialization, it would be difficult to witness economic recovery.

We needed to produce not less than 60% of our local consumption.

In order to stabilize our foreign exchange regime, Nig. Export must exceed import

Why wouldn't we go through hard times with an Almagiri economic plan.

Instead of using money to create a good atmosphere for businesses to thrive you share it out amongst people to eat.

You create bogus feeding programs for imaginary children.

You close your borders for months and make it difficult for importers to gain access to cheap raw materials for production.

You refused to handle the invasion of farmlands by herdsmen making farmers abandon their farms.

You have not met the security challenges ravaging the country.

Why wouldn't we face hard times.

I know Obaseki is a politician and politicians have levels of trust deficit but there is a reason I like that man. Just like people who do not talk too much - to lie is hard for them. I knew Obaseki was saying the truth when he said Naija govt is printing money. Now I can relate why Tinubu is moving around with Bullion vans - whenever they print, they give him his own bullion van and he storms the black market to buy large quantities of dollars to hoard. This is why there is enormous pressure on the naira as over sized amount of fraudulently printed naira notes are chasing a limited volume of forex available. With this financially irresponsible behavior of our leaders, the US$ will hit N1,000 before Buhari leaves office in 2023 grin

So, we take funds based on Mr President’s approval either from Excess Crude or Stabilisation Account or in some cases, President approved for us to take funds from LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) divided.... Minister of finance..hmmm.. now she is shifting blame to mr president...base on whose recommendation did president sign the approval..you see this ministers are not telling the president the truth or rather giving him good advice.they are always giving in palliative advice

Hard times are never for those on the corridor of power but for masses who voted them into offices and whose taxes are used in paying them mouthwatering and juicy allowances and salaries.
