Presidential poll: Go to tribunal or shut up, PDP tells Buhari Written by Jacob Segun Olatunji and idowu samuel, abuja Friday, 22 April 2011 The leadership of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) on Thursday, challenged the defeated presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), to proceed to the election petition tribunal to prove his claim that last Saturday’s presidential election was rigged in favour of its presidential candidate,Goodluck Jonathan, or shut up and allow peace to reign in the country. Addressing a world press conference in Abuja on the outcome of the meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party on the political developments in the country, its Acting National Chairman, Dr Bello Haliru Mohammed, advised that, in the alternative, Buhari should collate his evidence with concrete facts and present such to the press for Nigerians and the entire world to see that the election was actually rigged, as he alleged. Dr Mohammed also declared the party’s support for the decision of the Federal Government to set up a judicial commission of inquiry on the violence that erupted in some parts of the country after the presidential poll, which claimed many lives and led to the destruction of property worth billions of naira with a view to fishing out the perpetrators and their sponsors for proper sanction. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/20859-presidential-poll-go-to-tribunal-or-shut-up-pdp-tells-buhari |

He should just accept that he lost and has lost a lot of money that could have helped his children and people. They always say PDP rigs election but what people don't know is that PDP has the political sense that others don't have |
