Printing money is not the issue , every country print money and most country have debts the question is what kind of debt do we have... The President is spending on infrastructure which is not bad in itself, provide the citizens are able to maximize their potentials... Today Nigeria import goods worth $20billion that can be easily substituted, the CBN Governor has been doing everything possible to ensure the import substitution gospel stays, but we must go beyond import substitution to export, which is what Alhaji was trying to do, before Oga Rabiu started is media wahala.. If we export what we substitute, our revenue most likely would grow to $100billion in five years, and this is not limited to products, but services too. Good thing the Africa intra trade policy had seen the light , there is no better time to stay competitive but now. Like I always tell people Nigeria is not headed toward Zimbabwe we are headed toward self discovery, our Nation is over bless, but we are too blind to see it.

Yet the government is more interested in building railways to give Niger and Chad people access to the south with billions of dollars instead of investing in productive private sector job creation and local production schemes.

Some people are working on overtime to get Amaechi out of this government.
I think so..
Inspite of the fact that he has been quiet lately.., they have to go back to dig up some dirt to keep the enterprise going..

How was this Buhari allowed to lead Nigeria? He ought to be impeached.
WAEC played their role to issue him new certificate
Tinubu played his role by imposing an Illiterate, bigot of a Buhari on his opportunistic party following
The co called Nigeria Christians via RCCG and other churches played their role by voting Buhari via Osibanjo claiming he is a pastor.
The Moslems played their role by voting Buhari on religion and tribal sentiment despite his failure in first term
The banks played their role by helping the corrupt system embezzle and move funds
The electorate played their role by celebrating mediocrity and returning Buhari
The party delegates played their role by collecting money and selling their vote

No, for the following reasons

1.Zimbabwe got into where it is at because Mugabe destroyed their agricultural sector...their major forex earner, to prove a point. That had disastrous ramifications not just for Zim's forex earning capability, but for the local economy too

2.Venezuela , like Nigeria , is the classic oil dependent country. UNLIKE NIGERIA....Venezeula imports everything....everyhting....including tissue paper, spaghetti, etc etc. Meanwhile many domestic industries closed there...including their only brewery and only tissue paper manufacturer.

Nigeria is bad economic wise...but we learned a long time ago to manufacture a lot of things at home.

Simple. PDP happened

PDP messed up Nigeria for 16 years, and for the last 7 of those years, oil prices were at record highs. But instead of PDP to seize the chance and end our dependency on oil, they pursured policies that kept us hooked to oil more and more. So much so that our forex reserves went from $60 billion in 2010 to $32 billion in 2015 may, with sky high oil prices.

Then there was the massive insecurity. Bombs all over the North, crisis in the South. Herdsmen issues too...

At the end of the day, old man Buhari looked like a 'viable' alternative...when he really was not. But when you had a PDP government who was not taking responsibility for its failures...people got angry and voted for APC

(I didn't. Buhari is an old man to me...there are lots of youngsters out there who should be up and running. Plus, this is not 1984)

PDP is going to win in 2023, because APC has failed, and because Nigerians don't want to form a new poltiical force that would sweep away PDP and APC, and get some sensible governance for once.

The truth is , it is easier for the States to feed the Federal Government than for the Federal Government to feed the States,it is easier for the L.G to feed the States than the States to feed the L.G ...provided we make them self sufficient enough to provide for themselves. We just need to change our mindsets, the excuse is always devolution of power, but can we be resourceful first, or are we looking to depend on mineral resources let assume devolution of power was granted.

Simple

1.Remove subsides on petrol and power. Attract investors...and at the end we have more refinereis, more power stations, more money pouring in for things like the transmission system, refinereis, and electricity generation, and less loss of money from things like smuggling, and fake subsidy claims

2.Expand the tax base. Less than 30% of Nigerians in the taxable bracket actually pay taxes. More Nigerians need to pay in...(and i would put in place a flat tax of 10% of everyone's montly earnings for those in the informal sector)...so that we can earn more money

3.Incentives for industries....even if it means taking a loan to give them that...with the aim of making industries export orietnted in ten years time

So, where is apc and pdp on these matters? (Don't say agriculture...because I have been hearing agriculture since the IBB admin, and I am tired of it. Plus, most of our agriculture is manual...not enough to produce food that can sustain us.)

Nonsense. But the same critics of the givernment(PDP) has failed to tell Nigerians that when they were cast out of power in 2015, they planted over 1600 bombs which were used to explode over 1600 strategic crude oil export pipelines that were meant to bring the country revenues over a period of 2 years under the so called Niger Delta militants 'Operation Zero Economy ', then. People are quick to forget the genesis of crisis in this country. PDP is the genesis of Nigeria woes. Take it or leave it....
oga stop deceiving your self with PDP and APC ! Who and who is this pdp and apc among this current apc how many are former pdp don't be brainwashed and don't brainwash others
