Thank the Almighty Allah.

With the trend of results, I am 100% sure the next governor of Oyo is Senator Ajimobi.

He won Ibadan South west Local Govt. with a wide margin.

Yes, ACN should win in Ibadan SW, but this is a very tight contest
I am sure the litigations that would follow  such a marginal defeat would be huge
 Brace!

If it is an Ibadan area that is left, then (bar rigging) Ajimobi is guaranteed to win.

It would be funny not if after he wins and takes his position, some appeal court annuls some results and reinstates Alao Akala to power. Some people would die of heart attack here.  grin grin grin

agabaI23:

I do not think that is good for democracy. A situation where there is no opposition tends to absolute power no matter how good the man at the helm started off.

That is how the PDP started and here we are today

You are 100% correct. Be this as it may, you need to appreciate this. In 1999, people of Osun state, like any other  SW states, embraced AD on the platter of AWOism. AD was kicked out in 2003 (via voting) owing to high-handedness of the then governor to have a taste of PDP. In 2007 people wanted to kicked out PDP to enthrone AC in an election that was rigged by PDP.

A lot of people faced with the tribulation of their lives for saying out and standing by the truth. The 8 years of PDP was like living at the very depth of the hell. The PDP achievements of 8 years, despite the better allocation and supports from FG, did not equal those of 4 years of AD.

An ACN governor now came with all inclusive governance, no matter your belief and political affiliation. This is evidenced by the fact that PDP members constitute a large percentage of government's 20,000 workers to make good his campaign promises in first 100 days. To add to this, there were no retaliations, persecutions, and what have you.

Apart from PDP, people see LP and Accord as the off-shot of PDP which they actually are. So, they have no alternative than to vote ACN in sympathy of the governor and retaliation to the 8 years of PDP misrule

2010 electoral acts does not allow that anymore. The best a tribunal or court can do is to ask for rerun in the disputed areas.

You need to learn from a smart Igbo man how not to run your mouth.

Don't feel important based on tribal achievement.

Feel important based on personal achievement.

If you had any, you will hardly feel the need to publicly declare achievement by ethnic affiliation and think you are better than someone with a different ethnic affiliation.

What has this got to do with the broom revolution in the SW ? Abeg, just keep your advice to yourself.
