Humn! How did the DPR/NNPC arrived @ this figure? And how has this taken from the Nigerian nation as the fraudulent fuel subsidy or their subsidy under-recovery?

That's were PPRA comes in. They have staffs in every depot that keeps records of loaded product. Thats hiw they get amount of product loaded every month. The sudden increase in volume used is because the boarder as been opened again. So business as ususal.

In this country we will get it right any day we decide to do things right.
Do you know that the fuel use in Benin Republic all the way to Ghana are the supposed subsidized fuel from Nigeria?
Even from Niger Republic, Chad and Cameroon also enjoys Nigeria"s subsidized fuel.
One way to track this and possibly stop it is to ask for a specially dyed petrol from the refinery. We could ask that supplier dye our fuel green. Anywhere you see anyone dispensing green fuel outside Nigeria you then will know such fuel was snuggled.
This country has a lot of brilliant mind but corruption and nepotism have kept many out of the country.

At 150 per liter .. so what exactly is the government using these money or the profits to do ?

You just calculated like a normal sales person lol. It doesn't work like that. Nigeria make money on crude selling and not products like pms, cos with the profit they suppose to make they still use it to subsidize the product so it can be affordable, there make more profit on dpk and Ago cos those are already subsidize.

This is the type of fraud you'll see when you allow subsidy. Subsidy is an anathema! It pays to pay the right price even if it is ₦300/litre, but you don't want to pay, inadvertently/inevitably opening a way for a few to siphon trillions of Naira under the cloak of "subsidy".

The government and the cabal preys on your poverty mindset and gullibility to protect the regime and their pockets respectively.

LIES....

- How did the consumption of petrol of increase from 30m litres of 2015, 38m litres of 2020 to 93m litres of 2021

- How can there be increase in petrol consumption when their is increase in poverty?

- How can there be increase in petrol consumption with lower buying power and price/litre over 70% of what it was in 2015?

- How can you have more increase in petrol consumption when you have more adaptation to technology?..

- How can you have more fuel consumption when you have more fuel efficient machineries?...

Alas someone is asking sensible questions. in a country where there is so much poverty where the buying power has dropped and car sales has plummeted due to failing naira against the dollar, you have an increase of more than 100% in consumption. That alone cannot be logically explained in anyway

Declare an inflated daily consumption figure and multiply by a flawed pricing template calculation equals the biggest fraud ever

Bros u don't get it. If the price is increased in Nigeria it makes it more attractive to be smuggled. But once there is a way to identify Nigeria's fuel you will be surprised how the price they pay for subsidy will crash

How can increase in fuel pump price in Nigeria make d product more attractive in neighboring countries when PPPRA/FG says that increases in pump price is what actually makes d product unattractive in neighboring countries?

If u can identify nigerias fuel, will it stop d product from finding it's way to neighboring countries?

Removing subsidy like we have always heard will utterly stop smuggling. This I know.

But APC once told us PDP lied to claim consumption was 40m litres and they reduced it to 25m litres. Now are we saying the economy has grown by almost 400% for consumption to have increased so much?. Indeed something is wrong with this government.

The way out of it is to remove subsidy entirely. But if you only increase price but keeping it below the market price smuggling will still persist.

I used to buy 25-30k fuel per month for my generator before. Light was epileptic. 3k electricity lasts me 2 months or more sef.

Since last month, light has been better in my area(near contant) and i now consume 6k worth of electricity per month. But the 3k fuel i bought for my generator since early last month never finish.

Imagine this being the experience by all Nigerians. Fuel consumption will be so low.
Of course, about 40million litres was smuggled to neighbouring countries for sale.
