Radio Nigeria mandate studio says only 10 out of the 21 LGAs in Imo State has been announced, and Rochas won in 7 and Ohakim won in 2. Fingers crossed! Ohakim may come up with his Abrakadabra and super-rigging formula. |

Wow! Don't know much about this character called ohakim, but if everybody is celebrating his defeat, then i guess it's safe to say he is a bad mfker. I beleive congratulations are in order to the people of Imo. BTW, does this mean Rochas is better or is it just a case of anyone but ohakim? like i said b4, we pray he wins and we also pray he does better. There are no guarantees. being a philanthropist doesnt translate to good governance. Tinubu is a philantrophist while he steals Lagos dry. Pa Adedibu was a philanthropist. so is the elder Saraki. Time will tell but we can hope and expect. |

Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by edicolove: 2:54pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
Please Nairalanders should cross check their stories before posting. Imagine after this celebrations and congratulations, Ohakim wins, It would be very sad and embarrasing. Nobody should post a conclusive result when it hasnt been announced by INEC. it is misleading |
Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by aloyemeka2: 2:54pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
edicolove: Giving people garri and rice so they can continue to worship you is not philanthropy. Rochas is on a different level. He has trained over 2000 poor kids from the North in college. But I agree with you tho that it doesn't guarantee good governance. |

Please mention Abiola before Rocha Abiola is another example of a philanthropist that was a crook. Remember ITT? Abiola was a terrible guy. He was also a good philanthropist. I dont think Rochas is that way though. At least, he doesnt sell weapons.lol |

God I thank you because you've shifted your HQ in Imo State. Please dont kill Ohakim yet, let him see what his successor will achive within a short time. Ohakim make sure you withdraw all your fake advert because no room to steal more. If we allow you to do more, many priest will be buried. Bye for good OHAKIM!!!!!!! |
Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by bros1234(m): 2:59pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
Usually, in all these state elections Rochas has always contested, he has always won but another person will always end up ruling. I pray he doesnt win while Ohakim rules. U know how these things work. Ohakim as far as I know is going to shoot a lot of guns. U can imagine how much the guy shared during this election. God pls dont let Rochas win while Ohakim rules. We want Ohakim out completely. |

Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by kobikwelu(m): 3:03pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
as i have said before, i wont join hands and sing cumbaya, till i HEAR THE OFFICIAL INEC RESULTS, and the radio station that broadcasted the unofficial results should be appropriately sanctioned, this kind of acts are reciepe for riots , suppose in the end ohakim wins then what would happen to the "scores of people outside inec office" please lets excercise restraint before we start spreading half truths and unconfirmed rumours |

It's interesting no one has answered the question posed, ie What does he do for a living to make such money? And what kind of name is Rochas anyway? Is that an English name or Igbo? |

Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by rolchi(m): 3:25pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
why do you people always spur propaganda. Rochas is PDP thru and thru. he contested the PDP presidential primaries in 2003 and 2007 and was even contemplating 2011 before he decided to go for Gov which was a wise choice. he only went to APGA because he couldnt get the PDP ticket. Just like Akunyili did. He is not opposition. Just be happy for him before you ACN and CPC supporters start talking PDP. Was Orji not formerly an APGA gov? very funny. he will later be back to PDP because he is the best Ibo candidate for the Presidency. Brother, you are a confirmed political Juggernaut! No more no less |
Re: Imo State Guber: Rochas Okorocha Has Won! by nwaghana: 3:25pm On Apr 27, 2011 |
I don't really expect much from Okocha if he wins, but change is necessary. Let's experience his own form of evil. I know he is not as devilish as Ohakim; at least Rochas has respect for human dignity and is not arrogant. One only need to go to the Imo government website at www.imostate.gov.ng to see how Ohakim is using the website for his selfish purpose, as if Rochas, Emeka, Adamma, Oluchi, Ikenna and everyone else are not from Imo state. Indeed Imo state is Ohakim and Ohakim is Imo state. Our money is his private money. Fashola is using the Lagos State website to publish state budgets, programmes and development agenda, while Ohakim is using Imo website to denigrate other people |
