"Charles Soludo is a Former CBN Governor, who then is Deji?" - someone asked in the comment section.

At your age, with all sense of modesty, Soludo was already a first class Professor, travelled to about 45 countries of the world, consulted for IMF, World Bank, EU and many others.

At 44 or thereabout he became the Chief economic adviser of Former President Obasanjo, shortly after, he became the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, the Apex Bank in Nigeria.

He led the greatest transformation in the banking sector in Nigeria that brought about:

1. Public Confidence in the Financial Sector

2. Easy access to capital for production and other commercial enterprises

3. Entrant of more than 1000 Igbo's into the Bureau de change business that was hitherto dominated by only a section of the country.

4. Creation of millions of jobs for both his Igbo brothers and other Nigerians

5. Built the biggest business school in UNN Enugu campus

6. Established a Central Bank in Awka his State Capital.

7. Led negotiations that brought about massive foreign debt relief for Nigeria under President Obasanjo, a debt that if not for Soludo, our states would be bleeding through their knows to pay now.

8. Left this country the healthiest foriegn reserve it ever had

9. He is also a member of the British Department for International Development's International Advisory Group. Etc

To cap it all, in 2005, Charles Soludo, was named the African and Global Central Bank Governor of the Year 2005 by 'The Banker' magazine. (Hope you understand what it means to be the best in the world).

If he doesn't want to be talked down on, he should first respect himself by quitting politics.

Sincerely speaking, a single Soludo is of greater value and has favoured Nigeria, Africa and the world more than 1000 Deji.

Deji the son of whomever the surname is, lacks the profile, leadership, political cum social importance and capacity to talk down on Soludo any time any day, thrice on a holiday!

Allow those from the state to decide who to vote.

Don't from from where I don't know to impose your unnecessary opinion on them.

Let the masses decide and not fifth columnist deciding for them.

Face your direction Mr.

To a large extent, politics is for touts in Nigeria.

Soludo should not have involved himself in it.If he must,he should aspire for federal opportunities and not this unending attempts at state coffers.

Remember Soludo was CBN governor and did well.He made attempt to re-energise the naira at a point by removing a zero from every double digits naira but was refused by government at the time.

He should have aspired to lead the country to make a difference with his ideas, not as a governor. Now he has exposed himself to insult to a feather weight .
