I agree, but still our governors have to do more. The South East needs to be opened up so Investors can come in.
eggzactly, I think those governors aren't embracing outside and investments like Lagos.. I don't know why.. Maybe they are satisfied with what they are chopping

Lagos State government should not remit this huge money to FG, use half of it to pay your debts and the other half for any economic activity that will bring you more money.
IGR is not usually remitted to the federal government. It is for the state and its local governments' welfare.

It is IGR. Moreover, states do not remit money to FG.

Lagos was Capital more than 30 years ago. It never generated this kind of revenue when it was Capital
Why is Abuja not performing with all the billions of dollars spent there?
The last FG project completed in Lagos = 3rd Mainland bridge =1991

One thing .

Lagos City not Lagos State was the capital of Nigeria.
Just like
Kaduna ,Kano, Enugu, Bauchi, Katsina and Sokoto are capitals of their respective states.
Lagos the FCT is not the same as Lagos State.

Ogun state is not harnessing its potential. Ideally, the suppose to leverage on their proximity to Lagos and economic hub by hijacking most residents of Lagos. They have the land to accommodate those one who are still struggling to own a property in Lagos. They have the land for agriculture, they have natural gas. With good foresight, they should be the next money bag after Lagos harnessing the human and socio economic possibilities but as always, from one dulling governor to another.

Lagos state is doing so well. I wish they were states in the south East that can match Lagos in infrastructure, governance and revenue.

Sadly, there's is none. Almost all our governors are completely useless.

For collection they are doing well, what about spending judiciously for the betterment of the masses
Baba that is where the corruption is in Lagos.

Yet some upended brains would want us to kill those who made this progress a reality; calling them evil and thieves. But the useless set of people don't see the problem in glossing the lips of their underperforming leaders, who daily milk their future and their unborn generations dry.
God bless lagos state.
God bless Tinubu and everybody who's contributed to the success story.
God bless all yoruba land.
God bless all yoruba indegenes.

Just asking no hating. If this country should divide will this still be sustainable for Lagos?

Lagos is currently housing Eko Atlantic city,
Lagos is currently housing the Dangote largest mono refinery in the world.
LASG Lekki deep seaport which is the deepest in west Africa is 50% completed, even better than FG apapa Seaport.
Lagos is currently gearing partnership with free trade zone already promising $5B.
Lagos is currently building 3rd largest rice mill in the world.

Oya do the calculation urself and see that Lagos hasn't started making money..

Give Lagos 10years time and they will start giving out Loan to neighboring country.

Now I see why Ambode was booted out for deviating from the original master plan.. Imagine if After fashola, sanwo olu next, and continue like that Lagos would have gone far..

We were only blaming Tinubu for no siding ambode but now I see they av vision than us commoner and actually knows what they are doing.. Cheers.
