I wonder why the photo of the Vice President kneeling to pray for Nigeria should be generating such unnecessary fuss. In a sane environment, this should be seen as been okay and well-meaning. The reverse seems to be the case in this part of the world.
It is only normal for a Godly person to seek God's assistance in prayer in times of challenges. That it exactly what the VP joined other to do yesterday.

Prayer is good but to work one must first work, in the case of a politician or government official ensure there is justice and equity, there is no tribalism, nepotism, corruption, pensioners suffering, families of deceased workers denied their rights, people gainfully employed or given enabling environment and capital and making sure one will treat citizens the way one will treat self and after doing all these pray so those that benefit from bad system will not destroy what was done, pray that the people will appreciate and sustain the good works, pray that you have the strength and wisdom to continue on the right path and finally pray to thank your creator for the gift of life and mercies for making sure things are going well.
