Many things. But first, Nigeria needs true federalism starting with a review of its current revenue sharing formula. The derivative formula should be reviewed for a more equitable sharing of resources. 1 Like 1 Share |

Remove immunity clause, a thief is a thief, we are over 200million people, no man is indispensable, especially a thief. Remove plea bargain it encourage stealing, Remove the power of appointing Attorney general and INEC chairman from the president office. Punish 50 years and life imprisonment for any government thief stealing public funds. We must practice true federalism, where every state use it's resource to cater for itself. BAN open grazing, let us stop behaving like animals in a modern world. 1 Like |

Coldie: Then you don't get the gist of what of we've been talking about and clamouring for, the present constitution is the military constitution written by those people you are talking about that is forced on us, what we are saying now is this is a democratic regime and the new constitution that will be written will have all the various stakeholders in the country present while drafting it not that one that was rushly ushered in by the military and forced on us. Everything has process bro 1 Like |

koladebrainiac:Police can be sued even at the present moment though. But getting your evidences and proving your case beyond every reasonable doubts is where the problem is, because they will so much tamper or destroy your evidences and also influence your witnesses. You may not even get out of the case alive. ... There should be an avenue for the anonymous reporting of the police (and military) misdoings, so that the Identity of the reporter remains unknown while all the investigations are going on. |

od501:. The best would be to scrap this constitution. SCRAP TOTALLY AND BURN IT WITH FURNACE But if not scrapped. let there be room for REFERENDUM. People must agree to be together before they are together. If people vote to be together, then Region should be the best option to me. Regions should be based on ethnicity and not mix a yoruba and igbo man in 1 region, just like the midwest of 1963-67. If going by states, it should be based on ethnicity also State police should be localized. Every state/region should manage their resources States which cannot stand alone should join others. Above all, Referendum should be the first thing. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
