Former Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has subtely reacted to a ban on social media platform, Twitter by President Muhammadu Buhari's government.

On Friday evening, the Nigerian government announced that it will be suspending all Twitter operations in Nigeria. This development is coming a day after the platform deleted a tweet and a video from the President's official handle.

President Buhari had issued a tweet threatening genocidal violence on the South-East over its rising Insecurity. Reacting to the suspension, Atiku tweeted;

"Hopefully, this isn't my last tweet. #smile"

The FG feels it can fight global media platforms cos they don't praise and worship them like NTA. Meanwhile the idiots appointed special assistants to the president on new media/social media but can't tolerate the rules of those media platforms. The way they've messed up, even town criers will delete their news.

Another Social Media giant, Facebook has proceeded to remove a post made on President Muhammadu Buhari's official page.

Buhari made headlines a few days ago after Twitter removed a tweet from the President's handle. The tweet which subtly threatened 'Genocidal' violence against the Igbos was removed by the platform for violating its terms and conditions.

However, on Friday, Facebook proceeded to remove the same post from their platform.

“In line with our global policies, we’ve removed a post from President Buhari’s Facebook page for violating our Community Standards against inciting violence. We remove any content, from individuals or organisations that violates our policies on Facebook.”, Facebook Spokesperson stated.

Former Presidential aide and Opposition figure, Reno Omokri took to his page to celebrate the development.

"We did it it! Facebook has also taken down the tyrant’s genocidal post. We are grateful to Mark Zuckerberg. I am vindicated! When I asked my followers to report that post, many Buharists laughed at me. Who is laughing now. But it is still not enough."

"We urge Facebook to permanently suspend Muhammadu Buhari like they did to Trump. Buhari is a bloodthirsty war monger that should be shut out of decent society! That way, other’s with genocidal tendencies will learn from the treatment meted out to him." he wrote.

Shameless Nigerian government that is allergic to truth... Is banning the only thing they can do ? I thought they would sue jack.

This is what you get when you allow old analogue dead brain to run the affair of a country like Nigeria in 21st century.

That’s how they made mistake by turning off camera and light at lekki tollgate so they can carry out their evil, but their empty analogue brain didn’t tell them people will use their phone and post it live on social media.

Their useless Nigerian army that can lie for Africa lied about their involvement but later shamelessly admitted they were at the lekki tollgate but only shot blank bullets

Jack for don see shege if na Nigerian man, cursed country governed by unfortunate people
