Educationalserv: So 2 million homes enter the market, and you fill them with 2 million homeless nigerians, and this, in your mind, will end the housing deficit in Nigeria? 1 million empty apartments in Lagos and you think it there will be a Lagos the next year? You fill them with people who currently can't afford a home. What happens next? Because they have a free apartment they now have the money to pay the rent? Lets say 1 million people are refusing or unable to pay rent, what happens to the landlord? What happens to the property? How will anyone sell another house or rent another flat again? If this is the best your brain can do economically, enjoy your free apartment. |

Graysons: Abia is a phenominal place. I know it's a trend on this website to pretend it's not one of the best places in Nigeria, but Abia, and specifically Aba, feeds Rivers State. If you're wearing clothes in Rivers it's made in Aba. You can say oil oil, but that oil belongs to oligarchs (many from Abia) and Shell. 1 Like |

Ofodirinwa:there will Lagos before and after biafra that the truth if 30m igbo move to the ethnic enclave the will be 180m Nigeria left the Lagos port will service the 180m Nigeria left Nigeria will still retain it postion at the largest markets and most populated Nation in Africa. Lossing the igbos is like lossing a single toe this will not stop you form standing. But loosing the Nigerdleta is like loossing your leg u will survive but might lip . The abandon houses will be used as social houses allocated to area council to the allocate to unhouse citizen . We have horde of homeless people .people that can rent are already renting and keep renting .while new business oppurtunity that will be available from the igbo exit will be filled up by other Nigerians. The igbo dont build space carft and computer chip so they are not in high tech skilled which will be missed .na buying and seller from.china and Taiwan. If 100 igbo tile seller move out of orile today 150 yoruba trader can able to open Lc and ship from china and sell to 180m Nigerians that need tiles . 1 Like 1 Share |

heniford2: Selfish because he went to a distant land with a pair of bathroom slippers and nylon bag. Was accepted by his hosts who accommodated him, patronised his business and secured him till he became a man of means and respect, anchored in his new home wherein his offsprings were brought up with good manners and friends. Suddenly, the riff-raffs back in the village who only drink tombo from morning to night begin to begrudge him such that he has to take mopols with him anytime he ventures 'home'. When they cannot access him they lament the state of the nation and label him a saboteur. Truly, the riff-raffs are more in Number but what money cannot do more money would do. Forget it, riff-raffs would never win. |

Graysons: Abia may be shithole but it is an economic power nonetheless. The shithole look to it is due to maladministration. But we're talking economy here, I hope you realize this. |

vasel15:The Fulanis and Igbos are TWO OF A KIND! They seem to share ancestry because they have too many things in common. 1. The Fulanis are nearly 100% Muslims while the Igbos are nearly 100% Christians. 2. The Fulanis have linkage with the Arabs while the Igbos have been trying to link themselves in all manner of theories with the Jews. The Arabs and Jews are brothers who have been at each throats since begining of time. 3. The Fulanis and Igbos are scattered all over Nigeria and across Africa much unlike ANY of the other ethnic groups in Nigeria..There is hardly any community in Nigeria you don't find the two of them. 4. Unlike ANY other ethnic groups, the Fulanis and Igbos are two groups that have DISTINCT TRADES that are totally synonymous with them. The Igbos do spare parts and Fulanis do Cattles. 5. The Fulanis and Igbos both have a desire to settle down in strange places outside their own regions ostensibly for the promotion of their trade. They both pursue this desire by aquiring lands for their expansion schemes. The Igbos buys surreptitiously while the Fulanis isn't too keen about buying but bulldozing their way through. 6. They BOTH have a propensity to form COLONIES of their tribes in every areas they settle.down and ALWAYS ON EDGE to rise as a group to defend themselves. This trait is more common with only these two. 7. The two groups are experts at learning the languages of the locals amongst which they settle. They go out of their ways to LEARN the languages ostensibly to promote their businesses. 8. The two groups, unlike any other ethnic groups in Nigeria, have the greatest numbers of their Kinsmen outside their ancestral home lands. 9. They both have a strong desire to be able to RUN FREELY AND DO AS THEY WISH in their places of settlement without any regard to the environment and social stability of the host communities. The Fulanis want to be able to GRAZE THEIR COWS ANYWHERE and the Igbos wish to be able to convert even the highways everywhere into markets. 10. In the course of their Cattle Grazing and "Market" expansions both of them have devised formidable systems of stockpiling dangerous weapons. 11.. The two of them are the ONLY tribes who feel endangered in the area they have settled. There hasn't been any such fears Expressed ANYWHERE BY ANY of the.other ethnic groups. 12..They are about the ONLY TWO ethnic groups that seem to have internationalized their ETHNIC/TRIBAL SOLIDARITY in a way that looks like JIHADISM for the Fulanis and ZIONISM for the Igbos. *Yorubas have only just recently done such a thing in the wake of the agitation for Oduduwa Republic.* 13. The two groups have about equal levels of DEEP CONTEMPT for each other, far more than any other ethnic groups could ever have for either of them. In truth, the FULANIS AND IGBOS have unfathomable CONTEMPT FOR EACH OTHER you will be wondering where it started. 14. Ironically, the first coup of 15th Jan 1966, second coup of 29 July 1966 and the painful and wasteful civil war of 1967-1970 was basically between the two arch rivals. 15.. Paradoxically, both of them have been in the last 50years the STAUNCHEST ADVOCATES OF ONE NIGERIA AND PRO-NIGERIA NATIONALISM.. https://www.facebook.com/adedamola.adetayo/posts/10219780439529013 |
