To borrow to build infrastructure is NOT AN ACHIEVEMENT. Strip eberything down means the achievement is the ability to borrow. As a businessman my ability to take loans cannot be what keeps me on the board of the company but the health and prosperity, the dividends I generate.

On the other hand, what will have been an achievement is to build the infrastructure by being creative in raising the resources needed, doing what was thought of as impossible or improbable considering the circumstances

Since these loans are not going to be repaid during the tenure of this government I will rather give kudos to the government that either offsets them or is able to position the investments in infrastructure as revenue generators or economic stimulants.

I reserve a clap for the airports and rail ways until they begin to affect the economy positively as proofs of viability.

Finally if using loans appropriately is the yardstick for good governance, fair enough. Though such a poor standard of overall expectation, I however commend the government on that.

And we too $1B from our foreign reserves to fight war. You can see why this country is bleeding financially. Scarce resource being pumped into a war that doesn’t have an end in sight.

Hope you are aware that Buhari government is using over 90% for loans servicing alone.
Also, fuel, electricity and other basic things government keep increasing every now and then is to meet up with loan servicing because it is putting too much pressure on government.

All these you wrote here is trash and rubbish. first thing first, learn to speak with facts.
1. The government does not use 90% of its revenue to fund loan servicing.
2. Loan Servicing is not the cause of inflation or rise in price of electricity and other basic things. It was stated clearly that "these loans are tied to projects" and these projects can make returns to pay back these Loans.
3. The reason why cost of commodities is increasing is because there is so much Naira and less dollar (demand and supply). you need dollars or FX to import (all imports are backed by dollars). right now, our major means of FX is crude oil. we have a backlog of inventory which is leading to shortage of FX. what this means is that the value of the naira will fall and cost of commodities will increase.
