Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted as Nigeria get snubbed by Toyota, a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer and opened an assembly plant in Ghana, Igbere TV reports. According to report the plant was established to assembly Toyota Hilux pick-up and other sedans by the Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Company Limited. The plan is located in the Freezones Enclave in Tema. President Akufo-Addo of Ghana commissioned the plant yesterday (Tuesday, June 29, 2021), saying the development will help make the acquisition of new vehicles by Ghanaians more affordable as well as enable public sector workers to be able to afford and purchase locally assembled vehicles. Reacting to the development via his Instagram account on Wednesday, Reno Omokri said; “Toyota snubbed Nigeria for Ghana https://www.instagram.com/p/CQv0_4GD2DM/?utm_medium=copy_link 380 Likes 40 Shares

Nigeria may be the poverty capital of the world...be staring famine, disease and misery in the face up north....be contending with bloodthirsty terrorists and bandits sacking villages and making a ‘killing’ (pardon the pun ) from kidnapping.....and be in the firm grip of a vindictive band of core north nepotistic bigots; Nigeria may be facing all these (that in saner climes would lead to calls for the impeachment of the president) but so long as state resources, effort and time is spent ‘dealing’ with the Igbos (ie, dot in the circle) and their ‘pesky’ son Mazi Kanu, all is well with the world and everyone can go to bed (albeit on a empty stomach for some) and sleep well with both eyes closed! 65 Likes 6 Shares |

The automobile policy of the last administration was discontinued . Since it's obvious Nigeria's government only care about it maddening tax, levies etc on new vehicles, (almost 100% of cost price) since it's obvious that Nigeria isn't getting 24/7 power anytime soon, it makes financial sense to move the factory to Ghana. The major reason Nigeria is still getting investors is it's population. Any day Nigeria splinters, that dynamic will change 101 Likes 6 Shares |

Tinubuadvocate: You are embarrassing Tinubu.... with your lack of sense Ghana have favourable environment that investors are looking for... Steve's family feud is only done in South Africa and Ghana... Believe me that show has opened to the world They have security... Fulani herdsmen dare not encroach on their boarders They have stable electricity They don't have bandits kidnapping school children ... And Buhari will send Gumi to go negotiate and beg them... There's freedom of speech religion.. information and social media in Ghana... Nigeria is just the devil's abode Where fulani see as a grazing reserve 281 Likes 28 Shares |

Which investor will invest in a country with so many selfish and corrupt leaders, terrible insecurity, weak and unstable currency and a heated up political space? Ghana is peaceful with literally the strongest currency in Africa and to top it, they have a president who's educated and working to make his country better. We don't have that in Nigeria. I hope we don't end up electing another imbe..cile come 2023. Idiots in Government!!! 41 Likes 1 Share |
