This meeting is a good development. It beats my imagination how all southern senators and house of rep members, just sat idly by, with their eyes wide open, and allow their northern colleagues pull through with this major robbery. How can you vote for a whooping 30 percent of nnpc annual profit to be used for exploration in the frontier basins. These are basins where international oil companies have searched for oil for decades without success. Even oil bearing communities who have suffered years of neglect and environmental degradation never got any thing new this amount. Where in the world are things done that way. This is a master stroke, well planned and executed. But,It's most unfortunate that the north will never engage in a fair and good faith negotiation with regards to any that involves it and the south. This matter should not be left to
south West governors alone.The south east and south south governors should also meet with their national assembly member over this issue. This monumental fraud most be interoginted.

What is Distinguished and honourable about the south west Senators where they not there when the bills was going through the readings they never raised any objection or brought the notice to their constituents all they care about is their sitting allowance they dont see themselves as the mouth and ears of the people if the SW governors dint talk they would actually have allowed the bill to pass they should all be recalled and do not serve the interest of their people from being in that house
